Wilt is possibly the greatest athletic construction of flesh and bone ever. I have no doubt that if he played today with modern techniques and all, I think he would still dominate. Simply too big, too strong, too fast, and too good!
True that. BUT if he for example played during the golden era of centers in the 80s and the 90s he would need to really work for his money. Almost EVERY NBA team had a center with either similar height like Wilt or taller. If he faced such competition, well first of all forget about his 100 points game. His career record for points in a game would be much more "normal" maybe 80-85 points IMO. Also pretty much ALL of his stats per game (points, rebounds, blocks) would be reduced if he played every other night against The Dream Olajuwon, Sampson, Ewing, The Admiral Robinson, Shaq attack, Sabonis, Smiths, Divac, Bradley, Evil Zo Mourning, mount Mutombo, Dennis The Menace Rodman, etc.

We have unnoficial but somewhat reliable Blocks data for Wilt from 74 games, and his average is 8.8, including more triple dobles and a couple quadruple-dobles
Wilt is severely underrated. He legit was a demigod amongst mortals. No not "plumbers" in any generation Wilt would dominate. Here's why: He was the most athletic player, strongest player to ever step foot inches league. Not only that, he had a mean fade away and mid range jumper to go along with his post dominance. The fact people even think he'd be garbage today is laughable. Which center is running a 40 yard dash in 4.6 seconds? None. Which center today has was a high jump champion ? Which center today is benching 550 pounds? Just those facts alone let's me know all centers after wilt retired were very fucking lucky. Hell every player playing after he retired is lucky. They never had to face HIM. I do not see Jordan dunking on wilt, sorry. I don't see Shaq, who wilt out benches by 85 pounds backing him down and postering him. And I don't see any player past or present locking him down. He was 7 ft 2. And what I think doesn't help is 2k nerfing him to shit. In reality his speed, vertical and strength are all 99. Especially strength no other player in history benched 550 fucking pounds. He should literally be the athletic basis to go off of. If players can run as fast or jump as high they get 99 and go down from there. To top all that off, he also could shoot decently from 10-15 ft out had a mean fade away that he would pull out often. Kareem had the sky hook, wilt had the fade away. I remember watching game tapes of him running one man fast breaks and dunking on entire teams. Wild af how that aspect of his game isnt mentioned. He could literally rebound the ball take it the length of the floor and score before one man fastbreak was even a term. Individually in a one on one against anybody else in NBA history I take wilt. If he played today he'd easily average 50+ with at least 10 assists because od all the shooters. And he would've grown up shooting 3s like all the kids today so add that to his arsenal. And boom you got the greatest most dominant specimen of all time.
Thank you people don't understand that he was playing against real competition in the 60s centers then we're 6,10 and above and most of them are NBA hall of famers

Wilt would easily win every battle against Giannis. Giannis’ greatest strengths are his strength, length (pause), size and athleticism. The absurd part is, Wilt has all of these strengths himself, and to an even greater extent. Stronger, heavier, taller, more athletic. Additionally, wilt was exceptionally skilled for a dude that big. His unstoppable fade away, finger roll and hookshot were unmatched. 11x rebounding titles, 7x consecutive scoring titles, 1x assists title (only big man ever to win an assists title), and would also have lead in block easily if they were counted back then. Wilt was a literal cheat code, and only God knows how much more inhuman he would’ve been had he gotten access to today's training, nutrition and healthcare. Wilt is possibly the greatest athletic construction of flesh and bone ever. I have no doubt that if he played today with modern techniques and all, I think he would still dominate. Simply too big, too strong, too fast, and too good!
AGREEE🔥🔥🔥
@@Just_another_Euro_dude Thats facts, I still think the stilt would get his tho! unreal athleticism, not as polished as some centers you just listed though
Don’t forget dude had insane endurance as well, I hate seeing people say wilt wouldn’t dominate the modern era like there’s nobody in any sport today with this mans natural athletic gifts
He's definitely the definition of being built different

Imagine if they recorded blocks and steals in Wilt, and Bill’s era. Look at all the rebounding records, it’s all Bill and Wilt, no one will ever touch those records. They would get 30+ rebounds a night. I’m happy they had each other as competition, god knows there wasn’t much else.

We have unnoficial but somewhat reliable Blocks data for Wilt from 74 games, and his average is 8.8, including more triple dobles and a couple quadruple-dobles

We miss you Will Chamberlain. May the lord watch over him in the heavens.
I love how happy and humble Giannis is through all this
Loved Wilt’s classic finger roll, good attention to detail!
Wilt is severely underrated. He legit was a demigod amongst mortals. No not "plumbers" in any generation Wilt would dominate. Here's why:
He was the most athletic player, strongest player to ever step foot inches league.
These are dope!!! Please keep this series going

Sports Illustrated rightfully described Wilt as “the greatest athletic construction ever formed of flesh and blood.”
