Early releases of a 3rd party Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher kit has new face vents to convert the head into a more anime accurate style. But that is hard to get so just buy an EG Nu Gundam and pop the head of that onto the RG, the former is dime a dozen anyway.

Yes it is ,the frame is very lose imp,didn't pose with it but still very weak,the funnels also make one side heavy
Honestly, no. With or without the metal frame the kit will become loose over time. But man the metal frame adds magnificent heft to the figure

So you have to take your model apart and then reassemble it on the metal frame? I kinda dislike that since it can damage some parts.
