On October 6th in Las Vegas, Nevada Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor will fight for the UFC lightweight championship of the world. Right before being stripped of the title Conor McGregor had an incident with Khabib in which he attacked and vandalized a bus that Khabib was in. He was placed under arrest in Brooklyn, New York during UFC 223 and tried. This attack was in response to Khabib cornering Conor's best friend, according to Dana White, Artem Lobov, and slapping him allegedly about a political dispute in Russia. What's exciting is that this fight is the first of several that are needed at the top of this lightweight division.

If you've ever trained before, you know how difficult it is to shoot as a sole wrestler against a competent striker. You need to set it up perfectly to avoid getting caught on the way in. Not only is connor the master of timing, he is the master of setting up spaces where you think he will be. Connor as always, I'll judge the distance at which khabib can shoot, make him commit to it and connor will step back and catch him like he did aldo. Everyone is making a big deal about striker vs wrestler, this fight is really about movement and distance. Khabib has two choices, bull rush into the clinch or strike his way into a clinch, but either way he will be in extreme danger no matter which way he chooses to enter.
