@Love Schuyler they're essentially props, though. Most likely, they're paid to be stand-ins for the safety of the cast and crew. They would be swarmed otherwise. I don't blame them, tbh, but it's funny (and sad) that this is the closest to "normal" they get.
Michael Jackson used to do the same thing. He desperately wanted a normal experience of shopping, so he would have the store shut down to the public and pay people to "shop." The only difference was he was transparent about it.

She hasn't grocery shopped since the second season of their show. They started to get mobbed at stores and gas stations, which she at the time said made her uncomfortable since she was with her kids. Kylie used to go grocery shopping with friends all the time. But after she became super relevant in her relationship with Tyga she would get mobbed. Last time she publicly went grocery shopping they got so mobbed by fans that police had to escort them out and they couldn't purchase their items.
And then the media proceeded to blame them for other shoppers not being able to shop comfortably as if it's their fault someone leaked their location. Many celebrities don't get the luxury of doing normal things because fans and people over step.
