They do come in with their expertise yes but Kim for example has mastered the art of using social media for influencing and that has been the major reason for the success of these businesses. If you listen to Jen's first interview about Skims, you wil hear him explain how nothing passes without Kim. She chooses the fabric, she works on the marketing campaigns etc.
