We were so, so hyped, first time that our kids of 3 and 5 got to experience something that had a very warm place in my heart... But we soon noticed that it is becoming a bit too big for it's shoes. 3 hours we waited outsider, just to get in. Noticed that busses arriving frquently would just mergel in line.
A big, BIG thank you to the blacksmith, fabio the jester, and the lovely folks making bubbles. You salvaged the experience of two Kids :)

Ik heb volgens mij langer in de rij gestaan dan op Elfia rondgelopen, maar het was nog steeds leuk om weer te zien. Sfeer was wel wat minder door de slechte organisatie. De kostuums blijven wel altijd gaaf om te zien. Volgend jaar weer!
Was zeker niet de beste Elfia ervaring. Maar de kostuums en iedereen weer zien maakte veel goed. Volgend jaar weer eens kijken.
Pity about the rain but looked like a fantastic day regardless. The cosplay's are all brilliant. Cheers for sharing it with us Chris.

This looks absolutely incredible. The setting is stunning, and the costumes always impress. I could really capture the atmosphere from the video Chris.....the food stalls to the way people throw themselves into their characters. Really enjoy these videos Chris.

Its a cool site, and I love the castle. With sunny weather it's really magic. But we made the best of it and made some new cool memories.

Ziet er leuk uit, maar was het nou zo rustig?
In het begin wel. Heb ook alleen in de ochtend even gefilmd toen het droog was. Werd wel drukker.
@RdC In het begin leek het rustig omdat mensen al die tijd in de rij stonden voor kaartjes scannen (netwerk en scan problemen), sommige moesten zelfs 3 uur wachten. Toen die binnen waren was het erg druk en overal wachtrijen.
Ivm de aanhoudende regen zijn er ook vele weer vroeger vertrokken.

Nou nee. Dot was misschien de eerste 2 uur van de dag. Verder alleen maar vieze keiharde regen. Kostuums die kapot zijn gegaan door de regen en veel depressieve gezichten. Organizatie was ook erg slecht

Klopt. Dit was echt het begin van dag. Daarna regen regen regen. En inderdaad weinig schuil plekken.
