Hello I tried Cothas, and it came with good aroma from the packet, but after brewing in the filter and tasting it has a muddy taste! I redid 2-3 times and it still tastes like dark mud in hot water. Does anyone know how to fix this? What am I doing wrong?

I dunt like the taste of cothas. I think it is much hyped. I like local filter coffee powder that has mix ratio of coffee 70 percent and chicory 30 and priced at rs 30 per 100 gm. Maybe it is because I got introduced to local coffee powder first and got used to its taste. Cothas's mix ratio is 85 percent coffe and 15 chicory. Cothas's powder looks darker than local variety and has pleasant strong aroma when I smell raw powder. But I dunt like the taste after preparing coffee.

I am from chikkamagalur.. Have tasted home made coffee to instant brands to cafe coffee day...
Cothas coffee comes in best category of HOTEL kind coffee..Which is light and tasty... Less acidic compared to instant powders.. So good for gastric problem people..
