@@glenderman2699 man I think we should appreciate him instead of underestimating by saying that david goggins is a type of guy who can do this as a warmup and the people who are saying this cannot even run a 1 mile so that's the whole point
Followed beau miles for years and as soon as I saw your last video in 'illegal' shoes I saw this and remembered beau miles did this. Glad you discovered him, he's truly inspirational and so grounded salt of the earth kinda guy. Much love.
coming from someone that has ran a marathon i dont want to do this its a different beast letting your muscles hit recovery and pulling it out of recovery including the inability to digest the food and the lack of rem sleep during the challenge this shit would be hard
Same idea than Beau Miles with a different approach ! Very good, mate. I don't think Beau caren't about his speed so much as you did. He focused more on what he would be able to complete during his breaks. I loved both your approaches. Thanks for the video. Thanks for the motivation. Maybe one day, I'll run a 24h or a 12h marathon, that way too.
Ever done goggins 4x4x48 challenge? Did that a couple years ago and it was as brutal. I’m a clydesdale running(weigh anywhere from 200-215) so the 4 miles would take around 40 mins and you would think 3 hours and 20 mins was enough to recover some and it wasn’t. Worst was the night miles and then trying to sleep.
It seems that you made the same mistake as I did when I did the 4x4x48 (4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours), which was to only sleep or at least really rest at night. When that night came around I was so tired and I still had to eat and therefore only got interrupted sleep and not much of it. If I were to do it again I would be better at sleeping/resting during the day as well. Cool video and job well done! :)
My high school mile time was a 6:35, but my potential for doing the mile was under 6 minutes. I decided to hurdles more than distance. It was a mistake. 😢. I will grind back to the gym and see where I’m at and lower down my time.
I was a minute in and getting mad, like you're not gonna give Beau Miles credit haha, love that guy. True lunatic, check out his beans for 40 days video, all time classic.
follow me on strava if you're a real one hehe www.strava.com/athletes/isaiah_stofferahn

Stoked you gave credit to Beau Miles, his videos are incredible.
Beau Miles is one of the best youtubers out there. Always creative, always inspiring. Love to see others taking on a challenge of his!
Contrast therapy (cold to hot or vice versa) is actually really good for improving your circulation, so it is good for you
Yep
He called it
Hot to cold you want to warm your blood and get it moving then go to cold to stop it and stay fresh
Wouldn’t that contract ur muscles
Nah bro, Isaiah’s dedication and determination to become such a great UA-camr is just super respectable. Keep it up bro ❤
Fr bro
11:14 11:17 11:18
The fact you’re running a sub 7min mile while still holding a conversational pace is mind blowing to me. Guess I’m going to go run
Nah fr tho. He was getting frustrated with running 6:40s while I do a mile in the mid 7s😂 it takes dedication
Goggins does this on his rest day
Definitely one of your best videos, could not click off, i needed to finish to video!
This man is living my dream life. Thanks for the inspiration as always!!!
Next challenge. Wear 26 pieces of clothing and after every mile take a layer off!!!!
Fr
putting on a layer every mile would be better

I think this is a cool video. I'm just confused, I don't think David Goggins who did like 60 ultras is fearful of this workout?
Awesome video dude, Keep it up!

This video is really well edited and made

Saw this one on Strava as you were doing it and made sure to kudo them all lol, great job🎉
This seems easier than an actual marathon
This was awesome dude! I kinda want to do this now haha
Great video, great interaction with the camera. I felt like I was there.
