He has only two legal moves, which are Kxg2 (king takes rook) and Kh1 (moving the king to the corner), after both Noah can play Qxh3 (Queen takes the pawn in front of the rook).
If Kh1 was played Qxh3 it's just mate, if Kxg2 was played Qxh3 would've been a check and the only legal move was Kg1, but then Qh2 or Qh1 are both mate.

At 9;46 of this video, instead of Bishop C5 after Hikaru moved his Knight to C5: Noah should move His own Bishop to G5 so The white Bishop still guarding the white Knight at D2 at the same time attacking Hikaru's Rook at D8. If the Black Rook of Hikaru moved away then Noah can move his own Rook from A1 to D1 so the white Knight can go elsewhere Then the game would continue depending on where Hikaru moved his pieces.

Constructive criticism for the analysis parts. We can see from the evaluation bar when a particular move causes a dramatic change. The analysis always goes to the move and asks what would be a better move. I'd often like to see, when it isn't an obvious blunder, why the move was so bad in the first place, not just what is better. That c3 move in the first game looked harmless.

Its a standard tournament set/board with Staunton pieces (3.75" King).

I’ve been getting into chess this past month and watching vids every now and then. But I don’t understand why the game ends at the end when Noah and hikaru moved the rooks. I understand that the King would’ve taken the rook and Noah would’ve just had pawns left but why does it stop there?

I was wondering this too, im
Quite new to chess too. Im guessing because hikaru had a pawn that would of been promoted to a queen which is pretty much game over vs noahs pawns
