    For example, what about drawing a line that wants to move that line apart from the line at 10 mm? in aspire

    I am a total beginner. It does not explain what a vector is or what the objective of the tutorial is at the beginning such as 'this is what we are trying to draw eg a mobile phone holder'

      Hey There Jeremy! This particular tutorial talks through the specifics of how to draw in the software - it may be useful for you to watch the getting started videos to begin with. Here is a link to the Getting Started Playlist: ua-cam.com/video/6fqg8QCrdKQ/v-deo.html or you can watch them from our tutorial browser which you can find here: support.vectric.com/tutorials/V9/?software=2&category=2&order=1 I hope this helps! :)

    Hello, i'm new to cnc, just wanted to ask do i need to purchase mach3 to operate the cnc or vectric aspire does it all ?

    • @vectric
      @vectric  5 років тому

      Hey Triumf, Welcome to the world of CNC :) Aspire enables you to design parts/projects in the software as well as calculate the code to run on your machine you will need CNC Control software (e.g. Mach 3) to load the toolpaths on (from Vectric software) to transfer to your CNC machine. I hope this helps :)

      @@vectric Ok i got it, by the way so how do i save the job, as g code? Or stl, in order to send to the controler, or in other words whats the difference between g code and stl file ?

    • @vectric
      @vectric  5 років тому

      @@triumfdula8830 Hey Triumf, You need to save your toolpaths out to the post processor that your machine uses, so if you had Mach 3 control software you would save it to a Mach 3 Post. An STL file is exporting a 3D model out to use in other programmes. For more information take a look at our New to CNC page, here we have a short video, a downloadable PDF document outlining the process and other useful information. I hope this helps :)

    CAN I USED MY MACH3 CNC MACHINE TO PRINT ASPIRE 3D MODELS THANK YOU

    • @vectric
      @vectric  5 років тому

      You can use Mach 3 as your Post Processor to cut the toolpaths created in Aspire to run on your Mach 3 CNC. If you are talking about 3D Printing models that are created in Aspire, you have the option to export the model out as an STL to achieve this. I hope this helps.

      @vectric  Рік тому

      Hi There, thank you for your message. We offer a free trial of our software, available for download here: www.vectric.com/free-trial. You can test everything but will need to purchase Cut2D Desktop if you would like to toolpath your own designs. I'm afraid we don't have any free alternatives which will allow you to create your own designs and toolpath them. I hope this helps. Thanks
