Please stop listing the names on the videos when they are new! I just started watching the Quarter finals video but I know who is in the final because of the title!
I don't know why Burkhart didn't flash back Terminate to force Wescoe to use Scooze to use an activation to exile it, because then he could have taken it out with a Bolt in game one of their match. He lost a ton of cards in his yard to the Scooze.
At the end of the game, Robert Long made a huge mistake! He should have played Blood Moon and pass turn to avoid the manlands! next turn, at upkeep he should have played cryptic to unsummon keranos and tap all creatures... like this, he could have won one more turn to play...Can't anyone else see???
rick grimes keranos ability activates at draw phase not at standbye phase. read it i know my card. at upkeep you tap the creature and unsummon keranos. then keranos activates his ability at draw so at upkeep keranos has no stacks
game one I believe Corey lost when he played Pia and Kiran. If he jace minus targeting Kcommand Wescoe responds which allows him to bolt the ooze with one G open. Then he has 6 loyalty on Jace which is enough to survive a token and wildwood attack on the crackback. He can then Play P&K the following turn with activation mana up.
that's true - In a separate position, he could eventually use The Bolt that he found with The thought scour, bolt Craig's Scooze, forcing him to exile 2 of his creatures to sabe him From The 3 damage, then play Sulfur Falls, with Craig tapped out, Flashback with Jace -2 one of The Terminates. Pia and Kiran is much worse than Dark-Dwellers in this particular build, but we didn't have OGW set though
I really wish they would upload these in order, just so people don't accidentally get spoilers like I just did :(
Super tight play from Craig Wescoe. Incredible
Keranos can never be negated. It's a creature spell even if its ower's devotion isn't high enough.
What happened around 40:30? Why didn't Craig eat the terminate with the scooze with the targeting trigger on the stack?
+Shawn Dhaliwal im guessing Craig messed up.
+Shawn Dhaliwal Snapcaster was on stack before scooze resolved. It was played in response.
+Afrolord0 Ah I see, thanks, I didn't realize the scooze hadn't resolved yet.
+Afrolord0 nice pick up. that wasn't clear at all.
jace, jace everywere!

19:22 Not dismembering before damage on the SOoze was a mistake, Burkhart let his Nalaars get exiled.
Why didn't he dismember before damage so the ooze couldn't eat pia and kiran? What is he playing around?

I keep being excited after I see someone going to fetch with two basics... guess I've been playing too much standard...
doesn't the land off of ghost quarter come into play tapped?
*Untapped.
+Jordan Bowles huh.... shoulda read my cards lol
Robert misses his keranos trigger too with his opponent at 6
g2 commentators never mentioned that Corey has 2 creeping tarpits
Lol love choke
I don't know why people shuffle that way the cards are not going to magically change lol
I would’ve ultimated in game one...

+Enel97 because the keranos ability was on the stack and would still resolve and if he did it at end of his turn he would die to attacks
rick grimes keranos ability activates at draw phase not at standbye phase. read it i know my card. at upkeep you tap the creature and unsummon keranos. then keranos activates his ability at draw so at upkeep keranos has no stacks
+Enel97 You're right, it's not a Stax piece.
Choke! Love that card still to this day!
