By far, the best pizza in San Diego. I have gone to the Venice Pizza House to eat for 57 years of its 68 years of opening. Please find a way to keep it open. Spread the word and go there to eat as often as you can.
theres a local burger shop here in utah, called "the burger bar" it also is 68 years old. i eat there three times a week, easy. i yell at them every time "you cant sell a burger for 3.99" they keep doing it, and every day im afraid will be their last. im terrified to lose them. ive been there with 3 generations of my family.... they wont raise the price for "inflation" because then, people wouldnt eat. i swear to god, ill get the bank manager that forecloses on them. mark my words.
No it's not. It's their duty, to stay relevant and serve their customers. Good food? Go f*ck yourself. 68 years? Go suck a a big wiener. .... here is an idea... Be a good businessman. And stop crying about your failures.
That's such a bummer. It's a shame that the economy and everything health related has been so hard on small business owners. I wish them the best and hope for at least another 68 years.
Health * related . Or in normal language the biggest conspiracy since JFK - A privately funded disease created by the NIH ( Faucis company ) 2 blocks from a virus leak he knows about from emails dating back to 2017 - so none of this was a “ health “ issue - it was a hide the facts of the dirty government issue . They should ask for volunteer workers, (seniors) that want to help out. That would be a great way to bounce back. Go to the senior centers & recruit, offer a meal as pay. There are many seniors wanting to help or give back.
Another dumb idea is getting creepy retired armed heroes to hang around day care and schools. Keep those scum away from our children. Hannity touts that crap.
They have that right, best pizza and Italian food in San Diego hands down! napoleons is close to it but this place just has the best freshest ingredients.. I’ve grown up in the area and my dad used to eat here after Hoover high football games. Went here a few times the last month and the reason they’re being affected is half the other side of the dine in restaurant is closed, due to staffing issues. The last 2 times we went we had to wait in the front to be seated even after we called in and they said no wait. Thanks to Biden, dems and the raised gas prices and recession coming, everything is up accept the economy. Now look at what they caused. Businesses like this loving place to be in a bind. I’m sure after everyone sees this on Facebook they will start to eat there. But the problem is, will they be able to hire more employees to cater to the crowd?
10% raises on rent two years in a row is going to permanently damage San Diego. While landlords and rental companies are buying their next asset, most people are barely scraping by.
Unfortunately he may have had to sell or marketed it differently. No body wants to work anymore. Kids that used to love pizza jobs now are simply being lazy at home. Best of luck to you .
Couldn't the city or local county provide any assistance to these business owners as an incentive to stay open given their long history in the community. Moreover they were forced to close for close to 2 years. The more empty stores and vacant buildings the less diversity and business opportunities there will be.
It's weird that some businesses are flourishing right now and some taking Ls. If you go out rn you'll see people dropping big money at restaurants or Doordash and uber.
I can't imagine how many black people this man have disrespected while he was in business that long that far back anyways maybe he should bring his pizza down everybody is overcharging which is understandable but that's how you make more money charge less and they come in

uhhh youve ate there like once...why would you care?
Come on north park residents, let’s give this pizza place one more try!
DeMille's and Etna's just closed recently, so Venice is one of the last Italian restaurants in North Park.
They do make good pizzas! Screw Dominos and Pizza Hut, try them if you live around there!!
How sad.
I hope they stay open for another 100 years 😢

Why would someone want a volunteer to make them restaurant food? Volunteers dish slop at shelters.
I'm going to go try it tomorrow.

Restaurants ask a lot for minimum wage and most of the earnings is tips.
The problem is democratic policies have shrunk the value of the dollar but sure, let’s close down all restaurants because it’s “hard work”
loved that place in the 80ties, when we'd drive over for take out. Hope they make it.!
Oh, sorry to hear this!
Growing up in the 60's 70's Normal Heights. .The whole family would love to eat there . Very good italian food .
Let's save this business!
This only happened to good hard working people. SO SAD.
Vesuvio's, Etna's, and now Venice. El Cajon Blvd. is not what it used to be.
Rough part of town, I wouldn't recommend hanging around El Cajon Boulevard after nightfall.
Etnas. Does anyone remember Julio’s
Damn when did Etnas close
Yummy Buffet is also gone ):
I know, the street vendors aka where my pay check goes, are on OnlyFans now. hahahahaha

I am so sad. I am all the way in houston, but my father had a condo just down the street from there. I hope they’ll be ok.😢😢😢💔💔💔💔💔💋💐
the Bronx is the best pizza in SD, but this looks pretty good too. Sad that CA killing small business at every turn.

They’re slammed today and sold out. The community needs to step up and help out! Don’t be weak step up everyone!
I am glad I live close enough that I can go there and eat
imagine if all the hackers that steal banks money for themselves.... could help businesses like this... i feel a new war a brewing.
I go there everytime I am in San Diego very good....👍👌
Wow... get a new son, who doesn't give up.
