My kid can read very well and likes to read the comments. I would never deprive him the privilege of hearing Time For Three, so I found other postings featuring them.
They did this at Happy Hour at the Symphony (Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra) last Thursday (May 19), accompanied by the symphony...it was absolutely beautiful.
Time for three played with us at Interlochen last summer, and I can honestly say that they are the nicest, most humble and down-to-earth musicians that I've ever seen. They are such an inspiration and I hope more people can hear about them and see them play. It's mind-blowing, it really is.
Saw you guys at the "Wood Songs Old Time Radio Hour" in Lexington, just over a week ago. Fantastic performance, great sense of humor, wonderful music. The only thing that could have been so cool is if you had worked up a performance with the other act on that night, Tanglewood Trio *what creative and charming women...:-). Thanks again for a great performance, from my two friends and myself who were at the show
Found this on pandora just like everyone else and ran for UA-cam!! Love love love this song when I heard this I thought the bass was a cello and thought this peice was done thru a string quartet (I play the cello) When I saw that it was only a trio I was amazed! They look so young too..
I am a vocalist and love to sing but sometimes when meditating this is something to close your eyes and let your mind wonder away from problems and anything troubling. To the violinist! Thank you! :)
Wow... that bass player is amazing!! I heard this on Pandora and I swore the bass was a cello. I play the cello and I know the strings on that bass are not comfy on his fingers! Amazing!! I love this version of the song!
"Hallelujah" I've heard there was a secret chord That David played, and it pleased the Lord But you don't really care for music, do you? It goes like this The fourth, the fifth The minor fall, the major lift The baffled king composing Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Your faith was strong but you needed proof You saw her bathing on the roof Her beauty in the moonlight overthrew you She tied you to a kitchen chair She broke your throne, and she cut your hair And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Baby I have been here before I know this room, I've walked this floor I used to live alone before I knew you. I've seen your flag on the marble arch Love is not a victory march It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah There was a time when you let me know What's really going on below But now you never show it to me, do you? And remember when I moved in you The holy dove was moving too And every breath we drew was Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Maybe there’s a God above But all I’ve ever learned from love Was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you It’s not a cry you can hear at night It’s not somebody who has seen the light It’s a cold and it’s a broken Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah You say I took the name in vain I don't even know the name But if I did, well, really, what's it to you? There's a blaze of light in every word It doesn't matter which you heard The holy or the broken Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah I did my best, it wasn't much I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you And even though it all went wrong I'll stand before the Lord of Song With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah Hallelujah
I like the framing on this one: starting off with a sort of generic melody that you've not heard before, and can't hum along with. And then the cello brings up the signature sound of the song, and it's on its way. At the end, same thing, only the song is fighting against the generic melody to see who gets to finish last. The organization of the song with the normally harmonic instruments (cello and viola) get to carry the melody vs. the usual melodic instrument (the violin) is fantastic.
302279547: I can"t show this to my child, because of your filthy language. Your posting is an insult to the performers and other viewers. Do you have any beautiful words in your limited vocabulary to compliment the players?
Talk about "togetherness"! Through the music, these three felt a "togetherness" that made ti so very beautiful.

This is a wonderful version of the Leonard Cohen song. I love the lyrics but this instrumental version is delightful. Thanks for posting.
Undoubtedly the most stunning and innovative rendition of this musical piece.

Omg I was there!!!
I was there we sat at the bottom

"Hallelujah"
I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this
The fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty in the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Baby I have been here before
I know this room, I've walked this floor
I used to live alone before I knew you.
I've seen your flag on the marble arch
Love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
There was a time when you let me know
What's really going on below
But now you never show it to me, do you?
And remember when I moved in you
The holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Maybe there’s a God above
But all I’ve ever learned from love
Was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you
It’s not a cry you can hear at night
It’s not somebody who has seen the light
It’s a cold and it’s a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
You say I took the name in vain
I don't even know the name
But if I did, well, really, what's it to you?
There's a blaze of light in every word
It doesn't matter which you heard
The holy or the broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
I did my best, it wasn't much
I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch
I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you
And even though it all went wrong
I'll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Absolutely beautiful :)

Is there any way I can have the sheet music for the bass part? It's so hard to find good modern songs to play on it, so thank you. :)
