    Great video Luke!
It's amazing how fast nature will reclaim its spots after a fire.
I like the attitude regarding the summit. It's not all that great up there, but you did it😁

If you like this sort of story, do some online ready about Canadian Pacific Airlines flight 21 which went down July 8, 1965 near 100 Mile House as the result of a bomb. The crime was never solved.

Interesting....so many little plane crashes around BC. I guess our mountains can be a navigational challenge at times. I love the way Nina looks at the camera. She knows the drill 😂

Yep, coupled with often severe weather and low visibility, this is one of the most common threads in all the plane crashes I read about

Are you going try and make the trek to the B-36 crash site on Mt Kologet one day?

I talked with some old timers in town and they told me much of the fuselage was salvaged after the crash. This could be OK lore but some claim to have found the tail section another bushwhack from the crash site. I couldn’t find it on a couple attempts. 20 years of regrowth maybe hiding, it if it exists at all.

That makes sense from what I saw there, the fuselage must have been salvaged, and yeah, the tail section missing is curious, maybe that was removed too

Holy crap lol I actually see my name there @7:26 “Reece Martens /03” on the top/left of the bottom centre hole there lol. I always heard the cockpit was intact but a km away somewhere. I never found it.

It sure looked different, prior to the fire in 2003. I can remember picking the wild blueberries on the way to Baker Lake, then swimming in Divide. No bugs to speak of though. Beautiful time of year now. Thanks for sharing your adventures. 🌲🤙

Nice video. I'm new and still learning how to film.
I've been to Divide Lake two times and have been wanting to go to that crash site.

Surprised this air-crash story isn't more widely known in Canada. Quite a story. Would make for a great Canadian movie. Thanks for sharing.

I was 5 years old when that plane crashed. It was big news for the South Okanagan and CKOK Radio in Penticton reported it on a frequent basis.

I heard a wreck explorer from California say there was this old guy who is dead now but he would literally take a burro with a smelter and melt down aircraft crash sites.
His comment was also :hard way to make a living"
