M51 had SD730G, M52 had SD778G...so Snapdragon chip in M series isn't new at all. But 45W charging is definitely new
m51 had 7000 mah battery then followed by 6000 mah battery phones but now 5000 mah in M series phone? This phone is downgrade to me then upgrade

I think this looks better than all the other new Samsung phones that look like an iPhone and by that I mean a brick design that does not look comfortable to hold with sharp edges!!! This looks way more comfortable to hold in hand. Thank you for the review of it!

I don't know why people hate the M55. I know there might be better phones than this price range right now, but this phone is not bad. I would definitely choose this over the A55 because of the processor.

I had owned the Samsung M51 for almost 3 years... Solid camera, battery performance, display... But what irked me most was the pathetic build quality especially that glossy back... For a phone that was 22k plus and weighed that heavy with a 7000 mAh battery, the back panel at least deserved a matte finish that could hold against scratches and smudges. Despite using a Kapaver armour case, it still got the indelible imprints from the inner side of the armour case. After 2 yrs an OTA update destroyed the once elegant 60Hz display... Colors started shifting, screen started flickering and worst of all, the network started dropping on my Airtel SIM. Even switched to the 5G plus SIM that is the norm now from Airtel... Made the problem worse. Calls often wouldn't connect, 4G signals would crash... Reluctantly had to let go and switch to Moto Edge 40 Neo.
So, I have seen reviews of M53, M54 and now this M55... Its more compromises than ever for a 25K phone and you saying it's good and all sounds ridiculous. Pls don't become a paid reviewer. Had to unsubscribe many tech channels earlier but I still trust C4E Tech for their incisive unbiased reviews....

It looks exactly like S20 FE's frosted plastic back lol (which is good enough quality, been using for a couple of years now), except the camera housing and my S20 FE has metal frame.

actually feels slimmer..yeah coz they chopped off 1000 mAh. I have no option for phone longevity in range other than this... as I need a globally capable device, to buy in india n use in US.. hence is best "fit for all" for me. Will lookout to buy when i go home in summer, M33 served me very well for 2 years.. will be a worthy upgrade, though i'll have to ditch microSD
Not a good review it's ok to do sponsored videos but atleast point out the ckear negatives, like
1. Marketing 45 watt charging but that will cost you 3,000 rs extra
2. A snapdragon processor but a 2 year old one, so will your phone be actully work well for the next 4 or 5 years?
Like I know you can not talk about all the negatives right away but I think atoeast the 45 watt gimmick should have been pointed out, rest as you wish in your future videos👍

The reason why M55 main primary rear camers is so worst is because the pixel sensor is extremely small.
M55 (Wide Primary Rear 50MP OIS) - 1.43" Pixel sensor Size
A35 (Wide Primary Rear 50MP OIS) - 1.87" Pixel sensor size
and as pixel sensor size increases , it takes more light in the shots and thus improves the colour availability in each frames of image.
Solution - Unfortunately, it don't have a viable solution. Because this issue is heavily hardware based and all samsung will do is increase the saturation, boost some colors, and put a little of contrast with less sharpening via OTA update and still it won't improve or making the images compete with competition's devices.
Samsung ruined a good midrange device by a big margin because of this one cost cutting strategy.
I know that oneui is smooth on snapdragon chip that's why I'm loving to use my m52 and I used s23 ultra it's so much smoother than I thought but last year under 40k mai 11r Lena hee thik samjha halaki s21fe snapdragon version tha but jab OnePlus mil he Raha hai with good hardware k sathe like 8+gen1 k sath tab aur k dekhna ..... Halaki nothing tha but thora sa high price mai tha and nothing ka ui bohot better hai .... But under 40k mai curved display for watching movie and etc not much gaming k lea and 4 years tak update k lea OnePlus Lena he thik samjha

Honestly, it is tiresome to watch You Tube reviewers fall over each other in their praise of a phone with a 2 year old processor and routine specs.
One hoped that Mobiscrub would do better but it is disappointing, to say the least , that he has joined the bandwagon as well. To act as if 45 watt charging is a big deal in this day and age is laughable when industry speeds in this regard have reached insane levels. The battery capacity has been slimmed down as well which doesn't bode well for the phones' use in the long term.
Software and cameras were about the only areas where Samsung used to score over others but that's no longer the case with the Nothing's, Vivo's and Iqoo's of the world catching up. It's only in the premium segment that the Korean major still holds its own with a qualitatively better user experience.
Samsung keeps making ' budget ' phones that have little more to offer than their brand name at a time when the competition has gone well ahead. So they depend on ' friendly ' reviewers to keep them afloat !

I think m55 is bad I am using m51 since 2021 and I think this is a downgrade in most domains be it battery life , be it 3.5mm headphone jack, everything is the same except for the 5g coverage .

This phone is downgrade rather than an upgrade. when it comes to rear camera reviewers say "mEgaPixEEEl DoeSn nOt mAttEr" but with frond facing camera you reviewers are boasting about it being 50 mp. besides , its reduced to 5000 mah battery which is startig for defeat the whole purpose of M series . I am glad I didn't wait for m55 and had long been using m54 .

Instead of buying this midrange Samsung phone buy a flagship old phone. I still use Samsung s10 and it works like a charm. You can get it for 15k in the refurbished market. It runs on Android 12 and everything works on it. And it's way better than any new 15k smartphone.
