Well, my two cents for what's it worth is to see what other home owners in your area have done. Do they have another bathroom with a tub and then simply took out the primary bath tub? Or did they leave their tubs or upgrade them to spa tubs or even stand alone tubs? It might give you an idea of what is trending in your area.
