I really like the 3-Minute Guitar Licks series. What a great way to build a vocabulary of licks to draw from.

Thanks for that feedback, Scott! You’re the first person to specifically comment on the series, so I really appreciate it.

Actually it's not a Clapton lick, instead it's "borrowed", virtually note for note, from an Albert King song called, "Oh, Pretty Woman". I first connected these two songs nearly 50 years ago when I heard the original, King song on late night radio. All your praise of Clapton, though well intentioned, is inadvertently misplaced, and rightfully belongs to King. It's one thing for songs to be derivative, but a virtual copy without full disclosure or due credit is a bit sleazy on Clapton's part to my way of thinking. Listen and judge for yourself: ua-cam.com/video/WC7q6xxOQuo/v-deo.html
All that said, this is a tasty little tutorial, well presented...cheers.

Most blues from Clapton onward is derivative (SRV famously “borrowed” liberally from Albert King). It does appear that Clapton copied this solo virtually note for note - although the lick I feature here King plays as a fill but Clapton puts into the solo and hence it is more prominent in the mix. Anyway, my “praise“ is for the lick itself. Thanks for the history lesson!
