Peter again demonstrates his peerless single note playing, a sound that brings so many blues fans and players to an awe-struck standstill. That this humble virtuoso was sitting in with friends here must have given him the added comfort he preferred. In any case, these precious 7 minutes from an otherworldly talented musician leave us something special to savor as long as were here.
Peter Green exhibits a direct connection between his heart, head his fingers and a Higher Power. Peter interprets these mournful tones with a truthfulness that allowed emotion to pour from his fingertips. The Green God ruled as no other.
Peter Green has a direct connection between his head, hands his fingers and a higher power. The Green God can still be heard in today's music. He was a visionary and most likely the greatest white blues guitarist ever.
@@jorgeramirezcamarena4904 Peter being a very spiritual being set him off from the other greats, Peter's music reached into ones gut and exhibited his pain and glory thru his guitar. Having no ego let Peter put his troubles in the blues format till he could no longer deal with the pain in 1970 when he set out for a new life in search for his God. This freed Peter of much of his inner turmoil and let him reconnect with music later in his life when he no longer had to express his pain, he was a wiser man and learned to deal with life's miseries. He died a happy man. Bless the Green God!
So sad that he is no longer with us. He was my intro to blues, I looked at the credits for songwriters/performers and then ordered those writers/performers through my local record store (no internet in those days!) and learnt to love the music. Such a pity the Berlin/Munich incident took place and robbed us of a genius. RIP Peter. N

Hello.... realize... greeny is not playing lead guitar here... Also this is not the 1969 version... The Original Fleetwood Mac is what your lookin for.. Vocals - Peter Green..on this track.... take a listen to Peter Greens version, where he does play Lead ..
I'd have to disagree with you as this is definitely Peter Green playing lead guitar. It's unquestionably his phrasing, style and unmistakable touch. Yes, there are other versions with Fleetwood Mac, but this is Peter Green playing guitar.
Yes this is definitely Peter Green,it's from a 1967 session with Bob Brunning and Bob Hall from Savoy Brown on piano. You're talking about the 1969 Boston Tea Party version. But damn i still can't believe you would say this isn't Peter..who else could it possibly be..lol The vocal and guitar couldn't be anyone else!! It's from a CD called Rarities, with Dave and Jo Ann Kelly,Mick Fleetwood and Danny Kirwan also play on it. I see you never came back to defend your lack of knowledge ;)

So wounderful blues Peter the master of blues guitar
The best blues guitarist ever that the UK has produced. Brilliant track, really set off by the bass and piano. Love it.
I say the same. Peter Green the best in UK and Mick Bloomfield in the USA. Greetings
The one and only master of blues, the greatest of all of them by far

Its Peters playing mate. For one this is recorded, his has later live versions. Secondly he's playing rhythm and lead and vocal.

definitely Peter Green on lead guitar
This is Peter playing lead. Bob Brunning told me about the session and how stunned they all were by his performance.
