I'm really looking forward to tinkering with some different fits for this bad boy. The thrasher is one of my favorite ships, so I'm overjoyed for this one. It looks pretty capable with the excellent range, dps, and mwd Bloom.

Never rolled into Abyss with Destroyers. Though maybe I should give it a go with these new ships. Always nifty ISK rolling through the Abyss even the low tier filaments, great starting funds for new players. Pretty sure it was a Daddex YT video got me into those. Hehe. IGN Gregory Deaconforde
Great video as always. I also love the new undocking animations, my favorite is when I "spawn" my ship in the hanger and immediately undock it, so the ship is still materializing around my pod as I'm flying out.
I haven't done any abyss since your last abyss video, been a little busy with WH life as well as in real life. But hopefully soon I can start burning through my filaments again and get my new abyss base fully set up (Thx uprising for forcing me to move).

Solid video Mark. I went in with a Catalyst in T1 and died my second filament. The Catalyst was a struggle all the way through BUT I am a Gallente boy and wanted to try it first. I haven't tried the Trasher (said I was going to after the Cat in a previous video). I did buy a Cormorant to try a missile fit in the Abyss because I have had the best luck with my Hawk, Corrack, and Gila in my T1 to T3 exploits. I have been focusing on FW to get some BPC goodies though I want to try the Thrasher like I planned three weeks ago. Always look for your new posts and love the content. Please keep it up. BTW I am plagiarizing this fit for my T1 Thrasher run. I have found the Abyssals to be semi profitable though I did drop a 500 mil Gila a week ago and it wasn't paid for yet in a T3 against a rough BS, BC and four Cruiser room. Almost made me want to cry because I was cocky and didn't use a clean clone... Yes. I was that idiot... I usually do Gamma, Electric, and Dark with my ships. I feel gamma and dark give better loot. Do you have a preference for what filament gives the best loot drops?

ive tried a couple of these new navy ships and they are pretty decent over their old variants
It is great to get the clone soldiers and Gamurs on low sec belts and should clear 3/10 pretty fast too.
Hi, have you ever tried an Artillery Thrasher in the Abyss? Aceface and Cptn. Banksy made some nice videos about oneshotting almost anything in, addmittedly, Tier 0, tranquil, abyssal space.
How about you try Tech 2 Artillery on your Thrasher? I'd be very interested to hear about that!

My Filament Thrasher - 280 MM Prototype Siege Cannons Mediums -Sm C5-L Compact Shield Booster and I switch out (resists type) Shield Amplifiers depending on Filament Type needed. Have same Microwarp. Rigs - Small Ancillary Current Router I to get the Power Grid I need up, and Small Capicitor Control I and either Projectile Burst or Collision Accelorator. Lows are same.

Would you say it’s better to solo T0 & T1 Abyss, while finding a buddy for higher tiers? Have yet to explore this content… got a filaments building up.

My trips into the abyss always end in an eventual ship loss as I get overconfident 🤘and then I do other stuff until the likes of these videos encourage me to go in again. Few weeks back was the last time, totally noobed up running out of ammo on the last ship which was in hull, and unfortunately left my only valuable pod in the ship which was tuned for exploration. 🤦♂️you might just have persuaded me to burn through some thrashers, but not navy issue yet. I just started training up a new character without any real plans or ideas for what to do with another account, but it's pretty fun anyway. I only realized afterwards that I probably should have picked a different race, instead of going with gallante again. I like gallante, but it looks like lots of fun seeing you try new ships out. Thanks for the video!

You can cross train into 'other races' skills/ships pretty easily these days, alpha were once race locked but that went away. Whatever you do, have fun! o7

I've always liked the jackdaw for destroyer abyss because of its versitility, though I've been meaning to try out the new destroyers as well.

The ship works better then I could imagine. At the moment there are a range of ships which I'd like to explore for the Abyss. Sadly the TFI will have to wait.

Always great content. I loved my old Thrasher, so will definitely try the new ones in the abyss. I haven't strayed beyond T1 yet, but always keen to push the envelope. What's the best effect for the Thrasher NI? Would a shield booster in the electrical be a stable fit despite the EM hole resuting? Gotta comment on that Leshak SKIN. It's shiny! Gamma seems good as it favours the passive tank and the explosive damage the T2 ammo does. Most active tanks will work pretty well in the electrical sites which is why they are most popular.
Thus far I've not had the opportunity to test any destroyers in the Abyss. This one does look very good, love to see what other experimental fits you may come up with.

Solid fit, thank you. Unfortunately I made a rookie mistake five runs in and now I am one Thrasher Fleet Issue down. Speed kills Mark... Speed kills.... The drops weren't the best though I was close to being paid for. Semi win with the lesson learned! I don't have the LVL 5 gun skills you have so I would need some faction guns to maximize my firepower.
Have you thought about doing an epic arc video series? I want to do Smash and grab (Guristas) arc and the Thrasher is a recommended ship. The fleet issue would make it nice but a tasty target in NULL. Your thoughts?

I have the FI Thrasher and FI Cyclone...run them both with active shield tank and DC2...so much fun. Seems like all new Navy ships are bit buffed vs old versions of Navy ships, am I wrong? IGN the Dark Logan
The navy Exploration frigates are a bit odd to use, but the destroyers are just much better, and not too expensive. I didn't get time to try new NAvy battlecruisers yet but will in the new year :) o7

Any alpha combat cruiser can clear Tier 1 no problem, but you get less loot and often have lower dps so it take longer. There is no 'right' way though and I like to show the options rather than the meta :) o7
what clone you use?
Alpha Clone but pretty well trained for this.
