A little hint for anyone looking to buy a tyre plug repair kit. Buy one with metal handles not plastic, the plastic handles are known to break, sending the metal shaft straight through your hand. You don't want to be several hours away from medical assistance with a steel shaft through your hand. Loving your videos, always waiting for the next one.
I really liked those bull-dust shots. 👍 The slo-mo effect really highlights how easy it get picked up and whipped into the air. Matt, I think the word you're looking for when trying to describe what bull-dust feels like is either baking flour, or talcum powder.
Yeah that’s a good way to describe it! It was a great perspective on the gopro attached to the bull bar to see how the dust moved we were really happy with that shot,
Hi Holly and Mat. The Binns Track is great. Highly recommend the northern section of the Binns Track, from Alice to Tennant Ck. Be sure to include the Davenport Range loop. Stunning scenery and great camping. Keep up the great work, really enjoy your videos.
Hey mate, get yourself a diamond plug drill bit, usually available at a tyre shop. Just put it on a battery drill and makes a much cleaner hole and make plugging so much better.
Hey Matt, If you lubricate the plug with cement glue, It will slide in much easier, just be careful not to push all the way through. I just use tire repair glue like for the bikes, and it helps plug any pin holes that might be left behind.
The bulldust definitely look cool in pic n vid especially when you made slow motion of it. It's always good to travel with friend who you can rely on especially when it comes to technical and mechanical bits. I love the binns track, the scenery keep changing. there are so many remote place we have to skip because it's too far and we do not wanna damage our caravan 😭.
As a retired commercial trucker, i've always been told to never preasure blow out an air filter. You should just take a longer time and just tap out the dust. Enjoyed the video
Love this episode guys. We did the Binns track on our return from our double crossing ( when we seen you guys just out of Old Andado ). Absolutely loved the Binns track. One of our favourite tracks of the trip. 👌👌👌. Thanks for an awesome episode 👌👌
This track has been on our list since we were in the centre last year. Hoping to get back there next year so appreciate your thoughts on the track. Sounds like a winner 👍
Thanks guys. looks great. When leaving Alice, are there directions to Mt Dare (on Google/Apple Maps/Hema ?) to get onto Binns Track? Is it mostly dirt or some/most tar? Can we camp somewhere on Binns on the way, because it looks so nice, or should we plan to go straight through to Mt Dare in one day?
Excellent images. 👍 What is the approximate distance between servos from Alice Springs to Mt Dare via The Binns Track? I'd love to do it one day, but range could be an issue for me.
Ahhh, caught out 😂. Binns Track is soooo much more than the short cut shown. I was impressed that it was sooooooo long. Alice is about, almost, centre. So if you want to travel the Binns, well, you need to start farther north or farther south. Soo much history on that; the Binns Track 👍 kennym😊
@@OverlandTravellers I dont think you understand my point. The title of the video is Binns track, you say you're on the Binns track, your google route shows and you state you're going south from Alice to Mt Dare. Aren't you on the Andado Track? Are there two Binns Tracks in Central Aust? The Binns track i know runs south from the Plenty Highway to Arltunga, west of Alice.
@@muzzkeg8172 no I get your point mate….. well I don’t know what we were on but the Binns track does have a section that goes from Alice to mt date and the signs on the side of the track said “Binns track”

Wow the bull dust footage !!!! Epic landscape, and love the donkeys and the birds ❤️❤️

Thanks.👍🏾

I think it’s pressure blowing it from the outside in that’s a no no…. From the inside out is the way to go apparently.

Where is Adrian’s canvas padded mat from please?
It’s actually just a drifta canvas square bag with those foam tiles you can get for home gyms etc
