Only if we had a couple of consistent batters like Babar and Rizwan, despite their low strike rate, our batting lineup could have some solid defense.
Hard to believe that the Pakistani Side has deteriorated so significantly in recent years. Bowling, Batting, Fielding, All rounder options. Absolutely, no comparison whatsoever. Goes to show why an able board with financial backing goes a long way in moulding the team's future.
Ironically to how variable Afridi can be in terms of his on field performances... He was the best captain Pakistan got in last few decades. He picked the best 11 and kept the team gelled together.
