Magnificent travel destination. I love this area in China with so many gardens and water towns. This Lingshan Buddha is really impressive and draws in a lot of tourists. Wuxi is such a colorful town in such a city it is very pleasant to walk! There is such a calm and measured life and old houses give this city a special attraction for tourism! Thanks for the video, it was interesting for me to see such a cozy town !!
1:09 are those branches or trees growing from the wall? I love those random old houses, it looks so peaceful, and living by the river/canal.....wow!!! The taxi boat ? It's a great way to get around. 3:08 if those are homes they are so blessed to be living by the river/canal. 4:00 - 4:21 is a great view. 4:52 what a great place to eat, see your lawyer, or just chill. 5:07 I love the indigenous costumes they are so beautiful. The comment "....Wuxi is endowed ....... with a galaxy of gifted persons..." that statement is for the whole of China. The lanterns hanging in the trees is intriguing. 20:13 the young woman is absolutely stunning. 20:37 is that Outlet Shop the same as in NZ where you can buy top brands at a much cheaper price. The Grand Buddha Park is fascinating and interesting, the sculptures are magnificent but my preference of beauty is 34:00 all praises to the sculptors. The greatest parts of this vid for me are the beautiful very distinguished older generation keeping the park clean, huge respect to them. 44:02 the two young boys on the left in their stunning cultural outfits and the two children [girl and boy] to the right he's so daring and full of courage. May God bless him that he continue to grow his courageous spirit, may she be blessed to always be a role model, and the two boys may they be blessed to grow their humbleness and gentleness. 45:37 is impressive, though it could be seen before, up close it says something else......beautiful, impressive, amazing...... 53:55 wow that is absolutely breath-taking. 我觉得千年古城，经济发达的无锡在旧城改造和改善居住做得很好，很稳。最直接的感觉是房价和物价控制得当。
第一次去无锡是1983年。当时八个人吃了顿大餐，我记得是在一家“大三元饭馆”，十菜一汤。花了40元。
无锡人吃什么都是甜的，可没见几个胖子。其实无锡的饮食蛮清淡的，面筋，干丝，包子混沌，加上各种百吃不厌的蔬菜，都是我中意的。
上一次去无锡是2014年。吃住行都很便宜。可惜这里只能写文字。不能配图片和视频。没法给你凑趣。
胡大哥妙趣如生的文字也无需图片和视频凑趣。我根据你的描述，脑中已经有了美妙绝伦的画面，大三元饭馆的招牌在我脑中闪闪反光，十菜一汤的排场让我垂涎欲滴。

@@WalkEast 我最喜欢吃，吃过大餐就不说了，有钱谁都可以吃。有些吃的可就“可遇不可求”，有钱未必买得到。我说三个吃过就永远不会忘的：
1、天鹅肉：70年代，我爹几个人去十堰出差，居然买到一只刚打下来的天鹅（那时可没有野生保护一说）同行的一位广东人说，他拿回去作风干天鹅。
春节的时候，我家分到1/4的天鹅。清蒸出来，才知道广式的风干肉技术真的牛逼，才知道天鹅肉的金贵。我只分到二块肉，由此理解了“宁吃飞禽一口，不食走兽万千”的道理。在北方寒冷季节做出来的广式风干肉，技术上堪称一绝，绝不输给任何的腊肉或者火腿。可能因为广东没那么冷，这个技术并不为人们熟知。
2、野生阳澄湖闸蟹：就是这次出差，从无锡最终到上海。认识了一位上海同年（我俩同岁、同一届大学毕业），他请我到他家做客，正赶上他爹从阳澄湖急匆匆买回来7斤大闸蟹。3块钱一斤。他爹送回家就走了。他母亲、他和我三人只给他爹留了四只。每人两斤！从那以后，再也没吃过正宗的野生大闸蟹。我敢说，野生的阳澄湖大闸蟹绝对是所有蟹类中王冠上的那颗最耀眼的明珠。可惜快四十年了，和那位上海朋友早就失去了联系。我今天愿意请他吃任何的大餐，来回报当年的两斤大闸蟹之情。那绝对是可遇不可求的。
3、野生的渤海大对虾：也是83年。我和单位的销售科长（50岁的一位山东大汉，退伍军人）出差山东，顺便到他的家乡莱州探亲。住过一毛五一晚的农家大车店。在他家吃到了家里特意留下给他的两只野生对虾（每只6两）。他一只，我一只。自此之后，所有的虾都算不得什么！没错，所有的虾！
83年都是饿肚子的时候呢，全国人民都瘦的猴一样，哪来的胖子。。。胖子少的可怜
