- Correction: HiPass not Highpass
I wanted to do a quick video showing how to drive through toll lanes on the highways here in Korea.
There is two options, with a hipass and without a hipass. I show both ways.
I also show what signs look like, what speed cameras look like, and what the rest areas on the side of the highways look like.
If you have never driven in South Korea this will give you a better idea of what you are in for. It is pretty simple and not only are things written in hangul but in english as well.

Wow, thanks for going through all the trouble to show us how to enter/exit expressway. It was very helpful, as I plan on driving in Korea for a trip soon.

It was very helpful. Thank you.
Don't drive in the blue line lane it's for Bus only....the highpass lane has a blue line in the middle of the lanes near the toll gate..
@宋健熙 bus lanes are only in congested areas where people overtake on all sides anyways plus the buses usually drive faster than the cars in korea 🤣
Thanks for uploading this vedio!
Noone gonna ask why batman just chilling in the back seat???
I have learned a great in this VB. Thanks so much angel 😇
Thank you so much!
thank you ❤
Thanks!
Where do you buy the high pass card/machine?
My problem is that when exiting I tend to always find the wrong gate. Twice now. I figured it was always the right lanes but the last time through there was no person. Do you know what Hangul I should look out for when heading for a lane?
Love how it says to drive at 30kmh and every does way, way more.
No one goes by at 30km/h. The system has no issue recognising at 100km/h or more but sometimes the road ahead can get congested. I guess that's why the speed limit is 30. But then the police don't enforce it due to high possibility of causing accidents.
What does the red line mean? We keep accidentally going through high pass
Wait is price use Korea highway toll were get information on this want it
Hi, I am working for one of the Driver's Testing Offices in USFK. I am giving the newcomer's brief every morning and I thought this video would be very helpful for my military students. Would it be fine for me to use your video for my training course?
