It is amazing the amount of investment you have to make to be able to farm, you talk in thousands like I talk in hundreds. Good to see there's enough profit to fund it all Olly. Well done, it is all the hard work and long hours that make it pay i'm sure, 👍👍🙏
I have a 6565T absolutely spot on machine! Go for a 1.2m head as the 1.5 is to big on narrow lanes. Also just pull that auto-power to the bottom when you want to stop and then push it back upto the speed you want otherwise you will wear that roller out very quickly
I suggest you look at a Spearhead hedgecutter, I think you might find the cost favourable. You are keeping busy, hope Trevor recovers and is able to help you soon.
Spent a fair while on Shelbourne at Richard Longs when I was a student, looking forward to cutting the hedges around the farm, it’s been a long time coming
@OllysFarmLtd np 👍 I've 650 vfs on my 130r. There mega running at 16psi on silage trailer. Just had to put them to 18 on mower other day tho. 710s might be oreyt at 16 tbf though 🤷♂️
@@OllysFarmLtd yes best place for them this is where our one came from. It’s a HD760T. I know they no longer make that model but worth asking does to keep an eye out for used ones. They’re good machines
That 69 would be fine as a second tractor without throwing 16 grand at it you will never get perfection in everything as it's not justified and the 65 would be perfect for the wrapper so just crack with your work
We use the shellborne 8 meter reach because we do all the verge mowing and hedge cutting we are big but we are having issues with it but there both some what the same but mcConnel is better
Olly what do you say about the new 6r 250..for the farm and a new cultivator this would come handy for your contracting business..my fav tractor the 6r 250 300 hp version
Great video. Keep up the good work.

What a tractor set up. We run a 150r and a 12 plate 6930 with autopower, command arm etc. two very reliable and well built tractors.
Razorback for a hedgecutter. A lot of pedigree in that company.
Also, congrats on your lotto win!

The tyres on the 69 don't need changing at all
We’ll see how they go
There's a few thousand hours in those tyres yet. Michelin's get to 3/4 worn and just stay there for years
@@OllysFarmLtdhey olly please keep the 69 standard try to find some genuine 30 series mirrors and maybe do a crome exhaust stack
When your baking remember you have a brake pedal just press that when your bale is full
The 69 is o honey!!! You really sould go and work for someone to get more experience on machinery. Will take you a long time to cut a hedge tidy.

VF tyres run at lower pressures. Only need 15psi in front and 18 in back with mower on
Thanks been running at 20, will try 18&15

You should but yourself a cheap 20 or 30 foot rake save a lot of time also you need a nice John Deere weight for the front!
Most of the hedge cutters manufacturer are owned by the same group so I understand.
Hey buddy you shouldn’t really be leaving those bales overnight before wrapping ! Try to get them wrapped same day as baling !
true we always do in 1 day
