How dear to me were the songs of Jean Redpath. About more than 60 years ago (now 83) I used to hear her songs. The Crookit Bawbee was the song by which I was so moved to tears. And today Will Ye No Come Back Again is the same. Thank you.
Wow. I know this song of course. The Corries, The Dubliners, Clancy Brothers and many others did it. And I know Jean Redpath . But to hear her singing this song is just great. So sad she died lat year. Great singer and a charming person. 1000 thanks for loading this up. Wonderful. Regards from Frankfurt
"Scots wha hae wi Wallace bled" Beauty and Sadness are forever intertwined, both in blood,q in the history and Spirit of Scotland whether in Victory or Defeat.. Burns said: "A man's a man fa ah a that" The River Clyde may well "have been made of tears" The women whose eyes they flowed from, their children, and their children's children endured none the less.
The dead probably took idea from Dylan's 62 album. Dylan later sang song with Dead's melody/lyrics It all started as old Scottish folk song. ua-cam.com/video/RwZkMDxtYpo/v-deo.html

This lady had an incredibly beautiful voice. A great pity she is no longer with us.
I wish people would sing like this instead of pretending to be American.
