- This is it!! I am selling off my two "modern" trucks to build one last truck... I'm calling this one my "retirement truck".
Bought this ole girl off my dad years ago. She's a 1968 Dodge D100 Adventurer with the factory 383 big block/automatic. The truck is 100% original and she's straight as an arrow!
I've been into these trucks for years and let me tell you... they are hard to find this clean!
The plan for the truck is to just get her back on the road. I have some cool engine parts set aside for her... including a factory Edelbrock LD4B aluminum intake, a set of 1967 (915) closed chamber heads, cast iron magnum exhaust manifolds and a 750 Holley 4 barrel carb. I will remove the camper shell, put tires and wheels on it and drive it 'as is' for now.
Please like, and subscribe.
Cheers... Kevin
Those Sweptlines are great trucks. My first vehicle was a ‘67 with the 383, 3 tanks and the shifter on the dash. Loved that truck.
Oh nice, sounds a lot like mine, mine also has the 3 tanks. The two saddle tanks almost look like they were custom made.
I can’t wait for this ole girl to get back on the road. :)
Sweet truck!
Thank you! I love this thing, I can’t wait to start on it!
Nice
Sorry for the shaky footage 😬
I really wasn’t planning to use it. Man I love these trucks!!
I’ll get better at this.
