    A video showing how to change the spark plugs would be awesome! 😊

    These videos are great. How about one on the adjustable suspension? How to adjust, what the adjustment does and if having a passenger is a factor.

      Thank you @barsaf9989 😊 We've been pondering suspension for a while, but it's quite a tricky subject to do in a video - only because it's very personal when done correctly. We would suggest a 'flat floor' session with your local specialist, which will set the car up specifically to you. If you are local to us, we have the equipment and a resident specialist to do this for you 😊

    Great video!! That hard to unscrew bolt, should have a hex head for easier removal. These videos are very useful for me, since I'm building a Locost from scratch.

    Excellent channel, really appreciate you sharing these tips! Would have be invaluable when I bought my first seven and I've learnt more watching this!! Interested in knowing differences in metric and imperial chassis also process swapping windscreen to areo screen Looking forward to more videos like this.

      Amusingly, in this context, I had struggled with that inaccessible pedal-box screw on my imperial chassis car for years on the assumption that it was some semi unobtainable imperial size only to find more recently that it's M5 and have dropped a cap head in there.

    Really enjoying the series. Very informative and very well presented. Very good PR for you too. Two months back i had not heard of Turn 7. Now, if in the market for a Caterham, which I may be next year, you would be first on my list. Thanks.

      @@turn7caterham Thanks. As a topic for a future video, it would be good to know about safety equipment. For example, the difference between roll over bar types. I see some are referenced as track day or FIA roll over bars. Does this refer to the height of the bar, material type, degree of bracing or what? Can one only do a track day with a track day bar, or is it down to the driver to decide?

    • @turn7caterham
      @turn7caterham  9 місяців тому

      A ha, your wish may turn out to be our command very soon… We've just had somebody ask about roll bars too, so that's on the cards for filming this week. Stay tuned for the drop!

      @@turn7caterham Most excellent!
      This may be going to far back for your normal stock, but as someone who has flirted in the past with getting a Series 2 Lotus Seven, from what date did 'Sevens' have compatability with taking a roll bar? Unless the strut supports are strong enough is there a value in mounting a roll bar to them? I suppose those supports will always be stronger than the driver's head.
      Ditto re seat belts mounts. One reads of people bodging them to the aluminium skin of the transmission tunnel from where they will simply tear out in an accident.

      Hi Nigel,
      A good question. You are right, these are a little before my time and although I have crossed paths with a few over the years, I am not sure I could answer that with enough certainty right away.
      I am sure, however, we would be able to find out for you by the time you are ready to get touch. 👌

    Useful tips. One question I have is where the clutch stop should be set. Is it possible to overextend the piston?

    • @turn7caterham
      @turn7caterham  9 місяців тому

      You can’t over extend the piston, no. As for where the stop should be set - it’s mostly your judgement, in that once the clutch has disengaged you’ve reached the “bottom”, so the stop can be set just after that. Hope that helps!
