Glad you figured out the water fill situation. We've spent so many nights at Playa La Pastora just north of Todos Santos. One of my favorite surf spots down there. If you are still there, go to La Esquina for breakfast. Super chill cafe with awesome atmosphere. They had ukulele jams too where everyone come with their ukes. Usually craft beer on tap and two for one happy hour. Not sure if they are doing all that right now though with restrictions. I hope so. For authentic and the best cheap chilaquiles for breakfast, you can't beat Alma y Many's. Sorry with all the recommendations but this is really making me want to be there! Have fun!
Thank you!!! La Pastora is my favorite as well, I’m goofy so there’s rights and lefts there, love it. Plus no sea urchins! We didn’t get a chance to try any of the restaurants near by which is a bummer after seeing your comment. Just checked out your channel I’m envious of you and your fam! You all are an inspiration!
@@MathersOnTheMap that's too bad about the food. But there is no shortage of good food down there so I am sure you are doing just fine. I am goofy foot as well!
Really enjoying your videos! Baja is on the list so watching is super helpful. Great fix on the gravity water. Just subscribed to your emails. Thanks again!
Well, I’ll just jump right in with everyone else and say that the drone footage was spectacular. You guys are getting better and “betterer!” Yes! to the added days of content. You are kickin’ it! 😎✌️🤙🤘😎
Hey guys, I’m running a bit late 😇, not up to date with your episodes in Baja which I love a lot btw, enjoying as much as if I was there 🤣. Good to know you did a good job with the new “manguera”. Really cool spots, guys 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🚐. Keep rolling 😉. PS: watch with the Mexican sun, you’re gonna get reaaaally tanned 🙋🏾♀️ 🙋🏾♂️🤣
wow-wow/just out for a ride man or woman/good homemade food /no trouble with the sprinter-dependable sure to check fluids -before driving/catch a problem /ok take care-thanks much
Do you have a cordless drill, if so try the drill attachment pump from HD and it might work with your presure valve and keep you from lifting heavy containers.
Another option would be to get a second pump to keep as a spare. That way you could use it to fill from jugs if you have to gravity and you have it on hand if your main dies. Would have helped Trend and Allie a few weeks back. Food for thought.
Calling foul, that thumbnail puts the other channels at a disadvantage 😁. It's good to hear that 2wd hasn't been a problem. The duel fill for the water is what I had on a truck camper. It's a good idea, I was going with just a gravity fill but now I may go with both. Looks like you are having fun.
Haha trying to get new eyes to the channel! April has been very slow growth comparatively!! I would definitely do both GF and PF if I could do it over!
Hey guys! Yah made down there, nice tan. I'm jealous lol. No swells? How's the food? Stay safe, you know the drill.......oh, the last two videos not on Tuesdays? Just noticed. Not a big deal. Loving keeping up with your journey! Until the next one🙄
Hey Buck we hit a few swells missed the big one though. The last video was on Tuesday but we’re trying to go twice a week right now to keep up with the content! Thanks for watching!
Just curious on your cabinet and counter builds out of all wood. It seemed like from the sound of those bumpy dirt roads that there was a lot of rattling and squeaking. Are you experiencing any joints or connections coming loose? If so do you think 80/20 would be a better choice for those conditions? I’m getting closer to that stage of my build and I’m torn on whether to spend the extra $ on 80/20. Thanks. Get some surf.
Nah our wood cabinets are solid, really strong with the 3/4” inch ply. I think the rattling is our stove top which rattles a bit even on paved roads but it’s just really loud on dirt. The only wear and tear I see is on seems where there’s caulk but it’s likely to change in temps as wood expands/contracts. 80/20 could be lighter so that’s a big benefit over strength (I think atleast)
Do you have a separate GPS such as Garmin when you don't have service? A drill pump ($10) would be good to pump into your tank instead of holding the water jug up for so long.
Haha thanks Rob! Yes Sue we use the Garmin reach (we mentioned it in the crossing the border clog if y didn’t see that check it out!) Drill pump is a good idea, but I don’t mind lifting those jugs, gets the heart rate up! Haha
@@MathersOnTheMap i really would but not financially able, I'd love to give it a go and make memories and friends along the way. You two are awesome alot of people enjoy your journey and adventure keep smiling stay strong and enjoy every second 👍

Hi - I am from the UK - personally I would be more nervous travelling in the US than Mexico - silly really as I'm White Middle Class European... the fact we and the Police here don't carry guns is the main difference. I have traveled through Africa and most of Europe..... your nervousness about going to Mexico ... think about people who live in the US who are 'different' they experience the same anxiety as your now every day... Only because they are 'different' be friendly and try not to worry - you are as safe as you are at home ... just realise you 'different' :) I have been to the US many years ago and honestly California worried me more than going to Mexico and considering the Mexico border is the busiest land border in the world should tell you this few bad stories that you have heard are statistically one in a million. Just like London Heathrow airport is the busiest airport in the world - and we also have one in a million issues. obviously that's a generalisation ;)

Yes it does especially Baja California Sur
Do you each take turns at driving?
Yes in the states Taylor drives a lot but in Baja I (kevin) mostly drive
Lol second
What do you mean you can't drink tap water from Mexico, they're Delicious! j/k, you'll need iron stomach for that.. 😝😝🤣
