Story has it that when Heresy played shows with ND it would get competitive between Harris and Charlesworth. Harris was a great player, but Charlesworth was a damn drum ninja

I used too hang some times with these speedmetal heads and they always would try and tell me how fast dark angel and sod and alot of these psuedo crossover bands had but I brought them that heresy EP and point blank got blown away Chatsworth is the man and going back I remember being at my local record shop and.i kept on asking has heresy booked any tours being young and all I felt they played A big role in the grind core food chain and I hope anyone reading this thread l who hasn't heard heresy's music should look em up and it's powerful stuff youll be extremely imtidated at first man those dtums are smashing
The metal guys I knew were almost at the same place musically, but they got there through metal and I did through punk. The Heresy Never Healed flexi was pretty pummeling, but had some Metallica break downs, but they were brief thankfully. English HC / Grind guys really liked that early Metallica, I never cared for em personally. That’s cool that you asked around about Heresy touring, there were a lot of us waiting for them to fly over and leave a mark on HC in our area. They didn’t have the funds to tour the states and that was that. I think a Canadian label was trying to get them over, but it never happened. They did a lot of touring in Europe and Peel sessions and records.

I remember buying the album Ultitarian back in 2012, and cleaning my bathtub with bleach, and blasting this in my room the next room over dang, the smell of bleach while cleaning mixed with the grindiness of Napalm Death is an acid trip for sure.. Never forgot that moment, and after that day, I listened to every album from them, but I have to say, Ultitarian, and Throes in the jaws of defeatism are two of my favorite ND albums of all time ever. Great video! Sounds great, wish I was there.

If you think about it this lineup has been together since Harmony Corruption, they might as well be the Originals. Scum and From Enslavement were great albums, but Barney supersedes Lee all day. Only debate here is Herrera vs Mick. Herrera groove fits better, but Mick was the better drummer.
