  • Making and then breaking promises to yourself is a massive cause of anxiety and stress for many people.
    You tell yourself that you are going to get fit, stop smoking, leave the toxic relationship or quit the dead end job and then you don't follow through.
    You then feel guilty and beat yourself up which adds to your anxiety and stress levels.
    Take the pressure off.
    Remember you're a human being, not a perfect being!
