- Who doesn't love superheroes? Suckerpunch Production's Infamous franchise made the jump from the PS3 to the PS4 with new characters and powers. I felt that Infamous: Second Son has been constantly overlooked and I can't let that slide.

As a fan of the Infamous series I've got to be honest I didn't remember too much about Second Son. I remember that feeling of enjoyment whilst playing but that's about it. Now though, I'm super interested in giving the game another crack because I think it's unfair for this game to be forgotten. Great video mate, keep these retrospectives coming!

It was kinda woke like. Like I feel like he kinda took a pussy mindset into this game. The character killing the man in front of his daughter was a good touch to how fair you go when you keep killing people. Like porn: you start off with the basics and then the more you feed yourself that desire/product you eventually will make next steps further. Killing is the same way. He killed so many that making the next step on killing his whole family was actually something he wanted to do because it was giving him that rush that he lost after his first kill. He had to because he fed his rage and everyone likes to rage because it feels good.
35 minutes long? Holy hell man how long did it take to put this together? I hope the infamous series returns one day, I quite enjoyed Second Son and First Light.
From start of playing the game to the end of editing it took around a total of 60-70ish hours. I loved First Light. I thought it was also overlooked. I wanted to mention it in this video but I was already worried about the video being too long 😬

But the choices feels like there’s no consequences to it
Now that I finally watched it, nice work as always. I was never much a fan of the Infamous series, so this one kinda flew under my radar, but it seems like a really good time. I didn't even know you could get powers other than smoke, specially because the first 2 games were mostly focused on a single type of superpower...
This video was a refreshing breakthrough! I really like this format, just like in the previous 007 video. Keep it up!

You didnt talk abiut the open world, the gameplay loop or anything. All you did was show the cutscenes and explain the story lol

(coming from an 'old' [O]-bearer Guardian-player and still remembering a lot of Patterns/Vex experiences back in a vast setting's that I know (for example)): oh it gets even better alright....* (17:04).
Lore-wise-speaking.
*powerfully better (in those Video/photons/virtually, augmented reality simulating/etc-like-based type Conduits' (the more experienced Eugene, and recently for the multi-powered type Conduit Delsin for examples) own right anyways.
not like some Video type Conduit (like Eugene's level, so far(?)) out there back within the infamous setting's is capable to, er, Physically simulate that version of Humans' and Earth's first ever antimatter type bomb weapon(s) for example or something (just because Eugene and/or other Video type Conduits out there, all of a sudden, felt like it-after watching a Destiny/halo/killzone(?)/star trek/etc-esc type level scene from a normal monitor anyways), right....yet....
let alone one million plus or something conventional nuclear ICBMs by accident by Eugene or etc else and then that version of america now gets a hold of them or something Somehow. (meanwhile china/especially russia are now Done so with still Only thousands of their own bombs there. and also a reminding threat to any still-non beast type Conduits that have just been legally released from the Curdun Cay prisons out there))-
Anyways).

First Light was so fucking good. That was a fun Platinum trophy to get as well.
In my honest opinion this had potential. Was it fun yes is it as good as the rest of the franchise no. Though it was fantastic to play through if I were to decide which ending makes sense it would be the ending that is evil in which delsin spared hank. As much as I loved the good ending it made it feel like the game was a prologue to a new story and that we would get a sequel. Which I guess was the point and might've happened had it been successful. Look the inFAMOUS games are my favorite games by far no competition. But I think this franchise needs closure in some way I don't know how, but needs it regardless and badly.
Too bad there's no New Game+ in this game.

While not a bad game, Second Son is by far the weakest entry in the series. The story isn't as intricate as the other games, side content is repetitive and not as involved and the characters are not as fleshed out as they should be. The only thing I would put this game above the others is the combat.
