This Renfrew Ferry place is a great venue. I've been there twice, and everybody I know should check it out. The bands are actually floating on the water, inside of a ferry boat situated on the Clyde estuary river.. what?. When you walk towards the stage, you feel as if you are walking or sliding downhill towards it. It's fun to go upstairs and get a beer from the bar and stand on a sort of balcony, looking right down on the the band, fantastic experience.
@paulmcelroy1969 Ha, ha...thats no ordinary "off the shelf" Yamaha TRB bass Paul. Those high end Yamaha's are hand built in Japan and retail for well into the £2000 - £3000's.
Thanks for adding. I'm from Dublin and I flew to Manchester for one night to see him last Friday. It was unreal. Cheers again.
Marvellous Barry.one of the chaps.

Cracking solo from Ernest Tibbs. How does he manage to get his Yamaha sounding so good? When I play mine it just sounds like Cilla Black farting.
WATER ON THE BRAIN... a challenge for every rhythm section! Well... not for the AH trio!
@drumulater sounds like a really cool venue!!
