Used to watch this show all the time. It was always so fucking good. The Steve Earle/Guy Clarke/Townes Van Zandt episode sold me on it. I remember seeing Keith on this -- he wasn't known yet really, and I knew he'd be a star. He also blew the doors off as a guitar player throughout this. That's the thing about Nashville that a lot of people don't know -- even a lot of the pop stars have IMMENSE instrumental chops, like Urban and Paisley.
Yes, Hearsticles, I remember when Keith came on that show. I saw it, too. He completely blew me away. And I remember his incredible guitar playing, too. Pretty fresh in town from Australia, I think. Knew he had to be a big star!! A memory I will never forget. Think I even have a vhs tape of that show, somewhere!
I have never seen it anywhere else. He probably has a lot songs just lying around that he hasn't recorded. This one is special, should have been a hit.
There is a studio version floating around. It's fantastic! Definitely could of been a hit. Am wondering when it was recorded? Sounds like Golden Road era??
.~~To find a way back home ~~ Judged a stranger, shaking your head in shame~~ Fall so far ~~ not to blame ~~ Destined to be, forever on the ground~~ Running around in circles ~Chasing our Piece of mind... Search in vain for our wayward Halos.....We will never find..... These are #excellent #lyrics I absolutely Love this song!!!! #brilliant #KeithUrban ... I am a Fan ...
