Lovecraft was an bad person and made some great stuff, but oddly enough after reading and listening to his work I found “lovecraftian-like” stories are far creepier and scarier than anything lovecraft actually wrote. Lovecraft made it but other people seemed to have perfected it
@@fobbles_ @HALFGOOD I emphasize the fact, not to mention clarify that I appreciate the legacy created from his work more. I wholly agree and acknowledge that later novelists and writers have taken his concepts and have expanded and improved upon them. I should have clarified that the legacy that has been created from the original works that is strong. Its why I admire his creativity for starting the ball rolling but that doesn't mean I agree or support everything he may have done or said when he was alive that is now known to have detrimental results upon history.. Thank you.

Wonderful to see a return to the hotel. Its a place you can check in but will never leave. I think the paper scratching sounds really add to this new video and the eerie feel is building each time. Thank you again for all the effort and work you put in to these x
I really enjoyed his stories, rats in the walls was my favorite, though they were all good. The lurking fear and Herbert west re animator were also notably good. Great job with the video, you did Lovecraft justice.

I usually get more of a relaxing sensation from asmr but the salve sound gave me full on tingles!

Your Lovecraft videos have always been my favorite and are what brought me to this channel. I was wondering if you had ever thought of making any based on the dreamlands aspect of the Mythos. A video based on The Silver Key or The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath would be a thematically appropriate sleep aid video.

Wonderful video - so many narrative details and hints, and the atmosphere of the hotel is the perfect mix of creepy and calming. The closeups were a nice visual change of pace, too. Just one question though, why can't I go into the kitchen?
