Awesome cabin my wife and I are going off grid to a place in NY county part. Doing rent to buy. I will own it in 5 years and 5 months. It's a 200 square feet cabin and has a wood stove in it. Awesome peace and quiet for my wife and I. I will live like that till I pass on I am 41 years old now .
Amazing the cabin still exists, given the weather NS has received over the last several years and the fact that the owner built a 2nd story above the tree canopy.
What a sensory experience for you... the fresh air, the many sounds, the incredible views, and the oneness with the solitude. Absolutely beautiful spot. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Whilst visiting family in Canada years ago, I visited my niece who was living as a caretaker on a private island north of Vancouver Island. Truly amazing feeling.
I went to Nova Scotia with my father in 1982. I was 14 years old. we drove to bar harbor maine and took the blue nose ferry over to Yarmouth . we were amazed at the 24' tide in the bay of fundy! we drove just about the complete circumference of the land all the way to cape Breton island. it was early august. I went swimming, the water was very cold, call it invigorating! nice job on your video, beautiful photography !
I’ve made that trip on a ferry in 1967. My dad was stationed at the closing Air Force Base. I drove his little Renault Dauphine and took a two day drive around. What a gorgeous place, great people. It was like going back in time. Now you need a passport. :=(
Nice trip with some sublime views. I have to get that curry recipe lol, it reminded me of my time spent in a China town apartment. Ah the smells of cooking onion and ginger.
As a 30 year Alaskan resident, i have seen many a cool cabin all over this awesome state from oceans in Southeast to oceans Southwest to far east to far North to the and middle of interior up to Brooks Range. That one was as unique and eclectic surrounded by an all encompassing ecosystem. Loved the snorkeling reminded me of diving in great lakes where i scuba dived all oc them by the time i was 18, as i grew up in UP of Michigan!

As a land lubber I must admit that island that particular cabin is the most remarkable gem I've ever seen... adventure thru time,solitude, beauty thru existence and harmony

In the first few Minutes you said he also was a Sailor. My very first Thought when you went upstairs to the 1st Floor with all those Windows all around was: "Wow! that looks and feels like a Ships Bridge! (the Island being the Ship) How beautiful must it feel being up there in all Sorts of Weather, gazing out of the "Bridge" over the Surroundings!
