thanks! ya its a custom one, sampled from that famous yt video of the MDwhistles nyc 6 chime. esu is great but if you already have a decoder in yours I dont see the need to put additional effort in and redoing it, just for a better whistle (assuming u enjoy the rest of what tsu2 has to offer)
agreed, the build quality on them is insanely good. some of the last ever japan built brass, made in the 80s. Japan's quality still rings through! When I was able to purchase this from Jim Walsh's collection this year I bit the bullet, and painted and added dcc myself.
Hello, I literally made a video talking JUST about that topic a few weeks ago. look at my channels and you should be able to find it. should be the video uploaded immediately before this one. good luck!
The paintwork on this model is EXCELLENT...!!! Thank you for sharing
thanks! this was my second ever complete loco paint job. thinking im getting better at it :)
Excellent! That whistle is perfect for that Hudson. It makes me want to replace the Tsunami2 in mine with one of those ESU decoders now.

The Micro cast Hudson’s for key and westside were some of the best locomotives ever built in my opinion.
