It took time to develop a palette for bitter Amari, but I did develop that and I love Fernet, Campari, Amaro Nonino and so many Amari!! Fernet is a great digestive after dinner! Mostly I mix Fernet in a cocktail but occasionally I have a small amt over a lovely piece of clear ice - ice matters!!

Here in Argentina it's the most popular beverage, though we don't prepare any fancy drinks with it, rather we mix it with cola and serve it over ice
Given the fact that it's so bitter, beginners may try making their drinks with 85% of cola and 15% of Fernet Branca, and once the acquired taste develops you may vary the proportions
