Simply made, not too high spin speed, not useless functions. It's just a washing machine, that washing, rinsing and spinning. That's why this machine can wash over 20 or 30 years! 🙂
That elaborate timer advancing mechanism is truly amazing. It must have been cheaper at the time to do it this way instead of using a synchronous motor.
Fascinating stuff Matthew, have had the matching compact dryers over the years, but never even seen one of these thrown out at civic amenity site .(recycling centre as they're called now) . Its brilliance is how its so simple yet effective. I particularly like machines that tumble as they drain (like Hoover early models) so the clothes don't sit under a layer of suds.. Great video as ever. Cheers Mitch
The reason why it’s operation is simple is because I think it was conceived and built when the twin-tubs were still around and borrowed their technology = these also had the timer/program dial driven by the wash motor and a thermostat. I liked that you removed the top and back to show us the timer drive and unbalanced spin aborter, unfortunately you weren’t prepared to operate it with the top and back off ☹️.

It's maximum spin speed is 450rpm, and it doesn't have a suspension system, it's drum is not suspended, it's drum is stationary.
That is actually such a genius idea good for people who live in caravans or boats
Agreed. Infact this came out of a caravan.
@@whichwasher2007 oh cool
Brilliant machine! Also, thanks for posting such a detailed review, as I always wondered how they worked.

There's also called the RV washing machines. Machines like the 3.5 kilogram Costway has only wash rinse spin and soak
ngl its cute and tiny shoutout who made it :)
Very good machine Matthew i like to see more videos of the tumble dryers

I love that small machine
So cute! I love it…
Video with bosch v347 economic please
Omg! We had exactly this washer here in Brazil. It was "Enxuta".
Nice classic machine
We have one of these we take away in the caravan, it's brilliant apart from the spin. Use it with a 12v presure pump and a water carrier.
I did love using this a few years back at a wash in!
Don’t suppose you’ve got any vids of the extendia coming up? 😁
At Christmas 🙂
@@whichwasher2007 will you be doing anymore testing vidoes
@@whichwasher2007 oh shit, HAPPENING!
i still want one
they made a better centum system than LG
Centrum has a suspension, these Eudora’s dont have it at all
Fair point lol the Centum is loud and bad in general
That kinda cute
Are there any videos of this machine to come?
Already videos of it on this channel.
gosh i want one
Lightning fast 550 rpm spin /s
Superior drying performance 😂
I would love to buy off you I was wondering how much would you sell it for I I want to buy it
Beautiful machine, but for today I prefer 1200rpm machine (1000rpm mim)
800rpm was the normal back then. Now its 1400rpm.
the imbalance switch needs to be set a little better so that it takes a longer break when the spin is aborted
I wish I can buy off you which washer I would love to come and buy it off you
It's not for sale and will likely never be. (For a long time)
Quite rare washing machines they are. Saw one on eBay back in Jan 2021. Never got it though... It sure is a beautiful washing machine!
We still have Eudoras in Austria
Now made in Czech Republic
3 models if the small one
Design is genius, but rinse is horrible. 5 rinses with thumbles during draining is bad idea.
