A friend of mine tried to stop a gas station robbery and the robber stabbed him in the spine and he has now been paralyzed from the waist down for about 25 years. He successfully got the gun away though and saved a few lives and he says he wouldn't change what he did and has no regrets.
I saved my friend from diving into his house that was on fire. Neither of us got injured but if he had decked me or I had been seriously injured trying to stop him, I'd be in the same position. No regrets at all
I love the added detail of the Starburst Vs Twix. He makes the point to mention that the Starburst is the habitual choice... And she ponders momentarily about changing something about her life, even minutely, but conforms to her habits instead. The same thing is highlighted again immediately, saying that she should probably stop buying energy drinks, but does anyways - setting up the picture of someone stuck in the same mundane repetition that struggles to escape it, even when faced with choices that are - for all intents and purposes - easy to alter.
@@joeysandoval5269 Thanks! It's a cool detail. Its also a cool inclusion to a story thats tragic but also inspiring, in a way? The video ends in tragedy, especially for the clerk, but in a way it offers a sort of escape from this mundane life of the girl. At the end of the day, when life really falls apart around you, two average and unassuming, but goodhearted people risked everything to save one another. The story could have easily been about the clerk and set in the same tone ;his bills and the dreariness of going to the gas station at 5, in the morning to open a business that is putting him in debt, a failing marriage, and yet, the inspiration to do the right thing to save someone younger who could turn their life around. It's a hopeful message of compassion and morality between two strangers caught in dreadfully tragic circumstances.
@@joshamm1995 Seems like you're analyzing this too! Personally I was going through each story element and breaking it down and seeing what each one could symbolize or represent. On top of what you said about the Twix being a change of habit if chosen, and thus switching things up, I also took into account that neither the Twix nor the Starburst are substantial. Dude. Best reaction to this video yet! I'm not the type to watch reaction videos... but I was curious to see people react to Story and now, I've watched probably 30 of them. Yours hit on so many of the things that caught my attention too. The orchestral hits, the pause and delivery rhymes, the voice changes with the moment (and with the character too if you noticed), that line "God if I have any blessings coming in my future, could you send 'em to my present". Just WOW. Masterful art by NF (and Tommee Profitt with the video and music work) - and again, great reaction by you. 🙂
One of my favorite subtle things about this song is right after he says, "this might be a bad day." there is a subtle and almost out of place bass drops that's not repeated anywhere else in the song
Can't count how many times I've been watching this video now. You are consistently the best at breaking down the music you react to. Unique, observant and VERY WELL DONE!
I watched the second half of "story" the other day then had stuff to do. Now, today I am watching this before seeing the beginning, and wow, right when he said it's the same shirt he had on this morning I got goosebumps and actually teared up for some reason. That was epic. Wow
Been waiting for this 🔥🔥🔥
I tear up every time I listen to this... NF knows how to hit them feels
I was on nate Instagram live and he said that they made up the story
This song saved me money, I don't buy energy drinks anymore I just listen to this track.
yes i was waiting on this one! Thanks your reactions are amazing!
I cant believe you noticed that the first robber was played by Nate that quickly😂 it’s kinda evident by his movements
NF STORY. That was sick that was dope!!! The vidio, soundtrack and (as always), the way you break it down, absolutely STELLER!!! Even the way you observe the comers angle and focus blows me away!! I'm a huge fan of yours and, big fan of NF...POWERFULL
I dont care if some people dont like some gimmicks or other things NF does but no matter what you say NF is a Amazing rapper ❤
One of the best reaction vids I have ever seen. I love that you went back a few seconds after pausing it. Your explanation was well down and I appreciate the full breakdown and how you also got emotionally invested. Good stuff man, and you rap too, I subbed
I've been waiting for this!
Quality lead actress! I had the same thought of “quick, put pressure on the wound!“
So much fun to see you get wrapped up in the shock in the emotion! Love your reaction.
At 13:30 his reaction and his emotion. Knox I’ve never seen or heard of anyone who listened to music as deep as you and feels like you. You really do put your heart and soul into music
The "im just playing 😇😂😈, well.. no im not no im not," seriously reflects a pshycopathic person, somebody who can imitate/display emotion to get what they want..
This was a fabulous reaction. I got to experience the emotions I had the first time I watched the video again. Great job. Honestly this deserves a music video of the year.
First time I heard this song was on Spotify in the background while I was playing a game, once I started hearing the lyrics I alt f4ed and just listened completely captivated.
Really enjoyed your rapping in the beginning and your analysis of NF's song "Story"; you've got yourself a new subscriber.
NF is really is on another level with this song and definitely showed his versatility.
the way he delivers this makes u so invested like at the beginning yes it’s constant but he keeps u waiting and it’s crazy
I watched this video many times and I still get goose bumps!!!! Love NF music!!!!
Hands Down out of all the reacts I've seen, you are one of the best i mean u at the top on this react, Love it love it love it🔥✨
Big shout-out to the actors, they did amazing. This whole song is so powerful & the video only adds to it. Everyone here is so relatable to real life.
Been waiting for this
Can't count how many times I've been watching this video now. And I like watching other people react to this one because it still takes me on a rollercoaster everytime and I'm interested how other people feel about this.
So, well. I guess I like yours most so far.
Actually you're one of my favorite three reactors on UA-cam at the moment.
I've been waiting on this one from Knox
I listened to the song on the mixtape first but I could visualise this. But then I saw the video and it was absolutely bone chilling.
I have been waiting for your reaction 🔥🔥
You deserve all the recent hype plus more. Much Love from Minnesota my man 🙏
Woooo was waiting for this!
I always enjoy your reactions. One of the best out there breaking everything down in a song.
Another great reaction! You're the only one I've seen that noticed the heartbeat once she realized the place was getting robbed. Great ear!!
The live stream was awesome yesterday man 🔥
I first listened to this song while driving it was dark as well and they image nate painted in my head was almost exacley like this music video, he's such a talented musician!
I really love how he treats every aspect and delivers the meaning. I love when people can appreciate or respect something different that’s why this is my favorite music reaction channel on UA-cam
Just pure class, the breakdowns, NF. All of it!! Much love Knox
Been waiting! How I wanted your break down!
Bro I’m such a huge fan of you !! Your work and music is amazing
Have to say your breakdown and explanation added a whole extra level of depth to this already incredible song and video.
Definitely one of my favorite breakdowns ever. Keep up the grind big dawg!!!!
This song literally gave me goosebumps, Nate is so fucking talented the way this song was made. The instrumental was insane and the acting 🔥💯
You've got the best breakdowns. Always appreciate them. Keep up the great work!
