This show is really like an eye opener and at times scary to think how this happens every where. No matter how nice you are, how good you take care of your loved one, the temptation is always out there. I was most shocked by the doctor and how he is betraying his wife and letting the mistress know about what rules will take effect if they start a relationship. Now this man couldn't have it any better and still his eyes are wandering, it's never enough it seems.Its a good show cause it has my blood boiling for sure.

One thing I understood from the societies across the world.I am Indian.Whether it is India,Korea or any other western dramas or real life,I don’t understand why people glorify and justify cheating ( both physical and emotional)? All cultures say it’s okay for men to cheat bcozz wife doesn’t cook well,wife doesn’t look good.. Pathetic.. Cheating is a crime.. Not justified..That’s why it’s called Men’s world..Women in all cultures are taught to adjust for adultery. Now people don’t spam under comments saying even women cheat..O please come on.. Watching episode 12 about tore my heart out. Yu-sin is something else, he twists and turns every detail and blames Pi- Young for the failure of the marriage. The Conversation between them was so riveting, I'm still in shock. I literally have no words. I know that no one in a marriage is flawless but this man is just unbelievable. No thanks, I would rather be alone all my life than beeing with a Man like him. I'm really curious what will happen next. I feel like I need a break for a week before I can watch how this will go, lol.

Loved the acting scene of the young daughter of the Professor and writer. This young actress showed a class in how to act. She was excellent when she confronted her father about his affair. I don't know if she got an award for her performance but it was one of the best I have ever seen. I watched this series a couple of times on Netflix. My only negative comment would be the ending. It made no sense at all. I am an American and think the Korean shows are the best. I am not even Korean American.
I am obsessed with these movies, live in the USA and Korean shows/movies are better than anything you see coming out of so called "Hollywood". Keep them coming.
The ending shooked me for real! K Drama never dissapoints, it's not a typical one, with the poor or the rich girl married his prince or whatever. This drama is edgy and show some realistic sides of life. The professor was really ungrateful.... Wow. And the doctor he is from all three, really dangerous... Run!
Ep 7. The daughter of the writer, Se-um, the 20 year old Hang-gi is the woman of today. She is straight and had punch. Wounded children sound like her. Parents should listen and be decisive when trouble sets in in marriage.. Very good actress indeed.
She is so strong and amazing. She really learned a lot from her mother and will be an even better example to her children in the future (if she decides that path)

I watched till episode 11. It's a shadow of World of the Married Couples. It's shows the reasons behind love to divorce. Being a married woman, episodes 7 and 8 touched me more. Heartfelt exchanging of piece between the daughter and the father. I wanted to throw stones on the father for justifying his wrong doings. Shame on you Professor Park.
Wow!!! Sam Okyere led me to loving Korean Dramas and I have watched many of them so far. From Memories Of Alahambra, Crash Langing On You & One Spring Night. I must say this one at the moment is a top notch. Beautiful women, location, Sound effects, maturity, and soundtrack to mention a few!! Since covid started, aside Raised By Wolves, I haven't got hooked to a show but this one. I'm praying so hard they don't mess it up. Episodes one and two are amazing!!!! Fingers crossed. Anyway My favorite Korean actors at the moment are Hyun Bin, Park Shin-hye & my crush Lim Ju-eun ❤️ .....So far so good!!!

Well, I was wrong about the doctor, he is just as bad as the rest. This drama really presents marriage in a bad way. These selfish jerks makes me so mad. That relationship betwn the step mom and step son is sick. I don't think his dad meant for him to take care of his step mom that way. The woman of his dreams before he married his present wife, yuck. I know these women will stand up and it may not be in a good way. Revenge causes a lot of pain on both side. To the other women- why give in to this nasty way of life. It will come back to haunt you.
Marriage is a piece of paper, darling. it's not a sane concept. People uses that in order to signify love, unfortunately it goes against the nature of love. Love happens without your choosing. Only a simpleton would fail to realize this.
This is a great show. Sometimes men and women cheat and it has nothing to do with us. So if you are ever in that situation dont take it personal and try to find out what it meant to the other like Pi-Young did. Live your life blissfully.

Finally, women issues and conflicts with different views… the ones many avoid, skip or try to brush under the rugs. Genius! How complex situations do we navigate every day without anyone support or addressing it? Yes, its intense to those who avoid to speak or talk about it, but its a day to day practical situations in many women/men lives. Coping is hard. It’s not difficult to find women from different cultures that identify or with a different take on the same family issues. We can read about it on the comment sections too.
Pi-youngs husband and his betrayal hurt the most because they did have a well enough relationship on paper but emotionally he was always calm..too calm..and he kept acting like a devoted loving husband and for a second but only a second you'd believe it! You think “aw! That's so cute!” just to remember he has a mistress he won't let go of because she codependent and nuts! The one with the pregnant mistress lives a happy life.. I don't like how she acted as a wife she was far too self centered but at the same time I feel like she didn't get enough retribution enev though she totally killed the press conference. And for the one with the mistress Nam Ga-Bin I felt happy for her she lives peacefully with her children her ex husband is just an annoyance she has to deal with and speaking of him HAHAHA that how those to become is so..SOOOOO satisfying The ending of season 2 confused me tho - in anycaeni can't wait for season 3
This series is a f-ng mess. They'd want you to sympathize with cheaters and reason out adultery. Don't watch it! I wasted 16 hours expecting the wives to plot revenge but all I got is flashbacks and stories, reasoning of husbands to cheat. We don't give a rat's ass... it's wrong.
On the contrary I actually like this drama. It's very realistic and not the usual cliche cheating husband and evey watcher will start hating him. The drama shows the reason why husbands cheat. But it doesn't just stop there. It also shows the consequences you will face if you cheat. I especially like it because a lot of drama only tackles the consequences faced by cheaters but never their reason. I don't think it promotes cheating or adultery bcos if that's the case then the husband would not have that much problem and would live happily ever after with their mistresses. But no. It's like passive aggressive, it gives you an argument (which is sometimes wives are the reason why husbands cheat) and a counter argument (which is if you cheat you will face so many consequences for your wrong doings). The only thing I don't like about the drama is they made all the cheaters men. This is just my own interpretation of the drama lol

@@maryangelazagra No, you're talking about a different topic now. From Episode 6 to 16, this show was all flashback from the point of view of these men and the narrative never went back to the wives. Where is the logic of "it also shows the consequences you will face if you cheat" if the story is written in such way? Season 1 is a waste of time and is written to make you sympathize with those men. You know, by human nature, there could be valid points as to why people cheat, but that doesn't make sense and it's just morally wrong. The reality is: Cheating is always WRONG. What did this drama teach you for giving you a story of "10 episodes of flashback that focuses on the reason why they cheat" aside from making the audience furious about these men and/or sympathize with them, because truthfully, I might take a single episode of hate-watching an episode since it's in a POV of a cheater but never stand for a whole season in such perspective waiting for a revenge to happen! They advertized it wrongly by giving false hope to the audience that the wives will know about their cheating husbands and will deserve whatever is thrown to them.

Bec in all of those 10 episodes I didn't feel that the drama wants me, as a watcher to sympathize the cheaters (i have the mindset that 'ok you cheated now why'). For me this is not cliche cheating drama I have watched in the past, so 10 episode flashback for the cheaters is just an ok (like ok let's see what you've got) thing for me since usually it's a 16 epi drama talking about how bad cheaters are without knowing why they cheated. It's like a trick to people. Like would you be swayed by the cheaters reasonable reasons why they cheated or would you stick to what is right. Despite the backlash this drama received it will still go through with s2 and I think the reason for that is bec the story is still on going. I feel like the wives will still get their revenge or something like that. Like s2 will probably give you the vibe "you think just bec you got away with it its now ok to cheat?" kind of thing. Anyway this is just my understanding of the drama. I could be wrong in many ways.

The writer of this drama (Im Sung-Han) is known as Queen of Makjang (crazy korean dramas with lots of plot twists and absurd scenarios). She even retired bc her last drama was too crazy This looks like a pretty conventional 16 ep. kdrama, so I'm definitely curious how this will play out

This drama literally was 😤😤😤😤 to watch. The men and how they started cheating was crazy in itself. It showed how even if you beautiful, got all you shitz together the men still will cheat. The Dr. Has to be the most ruthless because he lies so easily and dotes on his wife and even gave his mistress the same perfume that his wife wears. Like what??? His wife is living a false dream. Yes he dotes on his wife and is sexual with her but she has no idea about what he’s doing. He is so sneaky, he is really scary to watch but he is eye candy in my opinion 😂🤪😩 As for the dj and her husband they seemed like they lost their love and lust once they got married. He wanted more of her where she didn’t want to change her ways and wants attention at all times. He wanted to at least end it with her before he started his new relationship but that didn’t happen. Also his mistress getting pregnant like oh my god that’s a big blow to any married women regardless of their relationship. That shit is hurtful as heck... and then there’s the professor that literally chose the mistress over his kids. That’s all I’m going to say about him. Let’s hope that there is a season two and it’s filled with the current scenarios rather than the back story which was confusing when they ended season one with the back story. I would like to see the wife’s and the mistress’s battle it out and was actually looking for some damn redemption for the wife’s. Let’s see if we even get a resolution. Overall the series was disappointing and confusing but interesting to figure out the pieces.
This kdrama has 3 faces 1. Professor - no contentment and consider family a less value despite of having a responsible wife 2. Doctor who took the advantage of having a perfect wife and insist his pride 3. A lawyer who is unfortunate to marry a selfish and a gold digger woman and treated him as a robot. I’ll go for Pan Sa Hyeon, young but a responsible one 👍🏻 SEASON 3 SOOOOOON!!!

I watched till episode 11. It's a shadow of World of the Married Couples. It's shows the reasons behind love to divorce. Being a married woman, episodes 7 and 8 touched me more. Heartfelt exchanging of piece between the daughter and the father. I wanted to throw stones on the father for justifying his wrong doings. Shame on you Professor Park.

Wow!!! Sam Okyere led me to loving Korean Dramas and I have watched many of them so far. From Memories Of Alahambra, Crash Langing On You & One Spring Night. I must say this one at the moment is a top notch. Beautiful women, location, Sound effects, maturity, and soundtrack to mention a few!! Since covid started, aside Raised By Wolves, I haven't got hooked to a show but this one. I'm praying so hard they don't mess it up. Episodes one and two are amazing!!!! Fingers crossed. Anyway My favorite Korean actors at the moment are Hyun Bin, Park Shin-hye & my crush Lim Ju-eun ❤️ .....So far so good!!!

Well, I was wrong about the doctor, he is just as bad as the rest. This drama really presents marriage in a bad way. These selfish jerks makes me so mad. That relationship betwn the step mom and step son is sick. I don't think his dad meant for him to take care of his step mom that way. The woman of his dreams before he married his present wife, yuck. I know these women will stand up and it may not be in a good way. Revenge causes a lot of pain on both side. To the other women- why give in to this nasty way of life. It will come back to haunt you.

Wow! Episode 7-the daughter was not going to let her Dad slide with his affair! Love this drama.
The fact the the 3 women who have relationships with married men are actually friends with each other was suprising to me.
Marriage is a piece of paper, darling. it's not a sane concept. People uses that in order to signify love, unfortunately it goes against the nature of love. Love happens without your choosing. Only a simpleton would fail to realize this.
This is a great show. Sometimes men and women cheat and it has nothing to do with us. So if you are ever in that situation dont take it personal and try to find out what it meant to the other like Pi-Young did. Live your life blissfully.
Too fed up with extramarital plot but will watch this because of Sung Hoon! So happy to finally see him act in a more serious tone, not his usual romcom roles. 😊

Pi-youngs husband and his betrayal hurt the most because they did have a well enough relationship on paper but emotionally he was always calm..too calm..and he kept acting like a devoted loving husband and for a second but only a second you'd believe it! You think “aw! That's so cute!” just to remember he has a mistress he won't let go of because she codependent and nuts!
The one with the pregnant mistress lives a happy life.. I don't like how she acted as a wife she was far too self centered but at the same time I feel like she didn't get enough retribution enev though she totally killed the press conference.
And for the one with the mistress Nam Ga-Bin I felt happy for her she lives peacefully with her children her ex husband is just an annoyance she has to deal with and speaking of him HAHAHA that how those to become is so..SOOOOO satisfying
The ending of season 2 confused me tho - in anycaeni can't wait for season 3

This series is a f-ng mess. They'd want you to sympathize with cheaters and reason out adultery. Don't watch it! I wasted 16 hours expecting the wives to plot revenge but all I got is flashbacks and stories, reasoning of husbands to cheat. We don't give a rat's ass... it's wrong.

On the contrary I actually like this drama. It's very realistic and not the usual cliche cheating husband and evey watcher will start hating him. The drama shows the reason why husbands cheat. But it doesn't just stop there. It also shows the consequences you will face if you cheat. I especially like it because a lot of drama only tackles the consequences faced by cheaters but never their reason. I don't think it promotes cheating or adultery bcos if that's the case then the husband would not have that much problem and would live happily ever after with their mistresses. But no. It's like passive aggressive, it gives you an argument (which is sometimes wives are the reason why husbands cheat) and a counter argument (which is if you cheat you will face so many consequences for your wrong doings). The only thing I don't like about the drama is they made all the cheaters men.

@@maryangelazagra No, you're talking about a different topic now. From Episode 6 to 16, this show was all flashback from the point of view of these men and the narrative never went back to the wives. Where is the logic of "it also shows the consequences you will face if you cheat" if the story is written in such way? Season 1 is a waste of time and is written to make you sympathize with those men. You know, by human nature, there could be valid points as to why people cheat, but that doesn't make sense and it's just morally wrong. The reality is: Cheating is always WRONG. What did this drama teach you for giving you a story of "10 episodes of flashback that focuses on the reason why they cheat" aside from making the audience furious about these men and/or sympathize with them, because truthfully, I might take a single episode of hate-watching an episode since it's in a POV of a cheater but never stand for a whole season in such perspective waiting for a revenge to happen! They advertized it wrongly by giving false hope to the audience that the wives will know about their cheating husbands and will deserve whatever is thrown to them.

Bec in all of those 10 episodes I didn't feel that the drama wants me, as a watcher to sympathize the cheaters (i have the mindset that 'ok you cheated now why'). For me this is not cliche cheating drama I have watched in the past, so 10 episode flashback for the cheaters is just an ok (like ok let's see what you've got) thing for me since usually it's a 16 epi drama talking about how bad cheaters are without knowing why they cheated.
It's like a trick to people. Like would you be swayed by the cheaters reasonable reasons why they cheated or would you stick to what is right.
Despite the backlash this drama received it will still go through with s2 and I think the reason for that is bec the story is still on going. I feel like the wives will still get their revenge or something like that. Like s2 will probably give you the vibe "you think just bec you got away with it its now ok to cheat?" kind of thing.
Anyway this is just my understanding of the drama. I could be wrong in many ways.

The writer of this drama (Im Sung-Han) is known as Queen of Makjang (crazy korean dramas with lots of plot twists and absurd scenarios). She even retired bc her last drama was too crazy

This drama literally was 😤😤😤😤 to watch. The men and how they started cheating was crazy in itself. It showed how even if you beautiful, got all you shitz together the men still will cheat. The Dr. Has to be the most ruthless because he lies so easily and dotes on his wife and even gave his mistress the same perfume that his wife wears. Like what??? His wife is living a false dream. Yes he dotes on his wife and is sexual with her but she has no idea about what he’s doing. He is so sneaky, he is really scary to watch but he is eye candy in my opinion 😂🤪😩 As for the dj and her husband they seemed like they lost their love and lust once they got married. He wanted more of her where she didn’t want to change her ways and wants attention at all times. He wanted to at least end it with her before he started his new relationship but that didn’t happen. Also his mistress getting pregnant like oh my god that’s a big blow to any married women regardless of their relationship. That shit is hurtful as heck... and then there’s the professor that literally chose the mistress over his kids. That’s all I’m going to say about him. Let’s hope that there is a season two and it’s filled with the current scenarios rather than the back story which was confusing when they ended season one with the back story. I would like to see the wife’s and the mistress’s battle it out and was actually looking for some damn redemption for the wife’s. Let’s see if we even get a resolution. Overall the series was disappointing and confusing but interesting to figure out the pieces.
