Making a movie isn't cheap, I'm sure Troian and Shay put up what they could, but they need help since this movie isn't backed by a studio. There's paying for the camera, locations, the crew, catering, etc, it's a lot of money that small screen actors can't afford on their own. They still have to pay bills too you know
I really love to see the 'whole' movie but it's just idiot that they're asking for money. I mean, Shay and Troian could pay for it themselfs.. Don't get me wrong I ADORE Shay and Troian, but asking money from fans it's just not cool..
