Watching this in the middle of the night after a rough day is like finding an oasis in the middle of the desert. Dwarfy brings so much joy with his cuteness
Jealous of your relationship with those birds. My last interaction with a kookaburra was one stealing an entire slice of pizza out of my hands while I was trying to have lunch in a park.
With how good your relationship with the kookaburras is I was wondering if you could get them to really laugh for you because that’s something I’d really like to see and hear
That was quite day in the backyard. I could use a little magpie song lately... wish we had them. But I hear the Raven every now and then. And a few meows As Nick has found his voice. Cheers friend!
You an tell it was quite a while ago when this was filmed just by the fact that you're still wearing long-sleeves and trackie-dacks. 😁 Hope you and the assorted feathered ones are still having a good time now that it's December!
That is the middle of winter? Isn't it nearly summer there now? Nice to see Dwarfy around. I wonder what happened to the rest of the group that used to come around. Is it pretty typical of them to come and go?
Yep it's summer as of yesterday! It's all raining today but looks like it will be hot next week. Yeah I'm not sure, probably went off to start their own families. How are you going?
so about 2 mth. ago, when I was filming the morning feeding of my magpie friends, 1 of the magpie keep poking the bottom of my sneaker. I was sitting down crossing my leg, and he keep poking it, what do you think it means? I can't film it, as my lens is 70 to 200mm L lens from Canon, so I can't zoom out to such close distance
That's really interesting. No idea and it's hard to tell without seeing it. Maybe it's just curious or thinks it's a fun thing to do or thinks it might get food that way? All the best with it!

I have gotten to an age whereat if I don't trim my eyebrows, I could brush them down to sides of my head, too. 😧 (not quite sure how I got officially old, 'cause, really, long eyebrows is it!) 😕
I have a wooden house that is 20 X 55 feet on a block of land 30 X 90 feet about 6 miles from the city of Melbourne. It is worth 1.4 Million. Does that help? (p.s. the Government doesn't make it easy for you 'pesky furriners' to buy here) 😊

Quite the contrast as I watch kookaburras in a sunny looking Australia and then look at the magpies and robins in my frozen British garden!
Me too! Some snow, and wood pigeons looking like yetis. This channel is my escape.

Hello Snow White.

Haha I'm still wearing long sleeves and tracking right now! Even though it's apparently summer...
this late in spring, I would suspect the trees having more leaves already
here we just entered winter season, with the first snow
The hovering was interesting at the start of the video, it is not often you see birds hover (at least in the UK, perhaps a bird of prey only).
