I am not a spurs fan but I watch them often. So mine is just an outsiders opinion but I think the problem with spurs is the players. There's no hunger there, the last time I saw a spurs player who showed the will and determination to win when he put that shirt on was Kane. He was a huge loss, now there isn't anyone (except maybe cuti) who truly loves that club and is willing to suffer for it. Look at arsenal players, those guys love their club, they're not only arsenal players but also arsenal supporters. With spurs all I see are people who are there because they need the money, Maddison, Udogie, Johnson, Bissouma and even Sonny nowadays all have this nonchalant and laid back body languages and look like they're just waiting for the final whistle no matter the scoreline.
honestly after watching this season so far i think our main problem is committing to the counter , everytime we get a chance to counter or move up field , we pull back , completely diminishing any pressure put on the other team , we have been good at certain points but we need to take more chances , and not die wondering , idk thats just me

As a portuguese Spurs fan, I have patience. I think we should wait and hope for improvement. We are not ready to win the title that's guaranteed. The level of the competition is huge and we can't say that our team is doing bad seasons. We just need more investment in the squad and be a little bit lucky to get the title to our team.

Seems like the narratives are either “Ange is terrible” or “Spurs fans are a disgrace” because this is social media. A reality check:
1. There will always be football fans online whining about their clubs manager. It’s the same everywhere. Being terminally online gives the impression it’s worse than it is.
2. That being said, Spurs fans are in the unusual position of seeing their club placed in “the big 6” conversation and comparisons constantly while spending significantly less on the team (wages, not just transfer fees), and ultimately winning far less silverware. Who always gets bantered for apparently never winning any trophies? Answer: Spurs, despite 90+ other clubs in England who’ve not won anything for far longer (Newcastle and Villa for example). This inevitably grinds away at Spurs fans’ patience, which is not Ange’s fault, but why he’s in an environment where patience is in short supply.
3. Likewise, Spurs fans get hit with some of the highest ticket prices in the country. Again, while this isn’t translating into success on the pitch, fans will get increasingly impatient.
3. Spurs fans have lived through many false dawns. The older generations will be familiar with Levy’s revolving door of managers. Younger generations will have lived through the Pochettino era where Spurs were on the cusp of greatness (including winning the league/CL), only for Levy to kick Pochettino out the door and then cycle through another pack of managers. Again, not Ange’s fault. But it makes it doubly hard for Ange to generate faith and hope in a fanbase that has become weary with promises of a brighter future that ultimately fail to materialise under this current ownership.
Fans should stick with Ange. But at the same time, non Spurs fans criticizing Spurs fans for a lack of patience ignores (through willful ignorance) the context that reasonably explains why some Spurs fans have so little patience left to expect this manager will be any different.
Look, Spurs has hired proven managers such as Conte and Mourinho, and they still failed to win Spurs a trophy, even worse, they fired Mourinho just a week before the final!

As a neutral, I really enjoyed Tottenham's footballing style last season, but it seems like he refuses to adapt to teams that have since figured out how to exploit his high line. Villa also used a high line (more effectively too, so you'd expect them to stick to it), but have shifted to a different style since.
I think Tottenham should definitely stick with Ange, but imo he needs to switch it up sometimes

His tactics will never win him a title. Spurs are too exposed at the back. Unless they get absolute world class players in the backline like Klopp's Liverpool with Ali and VVD, they'll have no hope. And Klopp's tactics weren't nearly as suicidal as Ange's.
