    What impacted me most was trusting my instincts. I believe we are taught to trust the process, the formula, the numbers, and the blue print more than we are taught to trust ourselves. Thank you for the wisdom.

      Yeah, but when you trust yourself 90% of time, you fall. Its not bad, its just part of the learning experience. What can become a big issue is when you try to get up by looking for strategies to never fall again. Either you stay stuck in a learning curve or grow through the feedback loop

    Key takeaways:
    - “The thing worth replicating is the aliveness in the moment”
    - "Stay with yourself, the right way"
    - The way to find out if its for you is to do it. The way to know if you will enjoy doing it is "DO IT". DOnt wait for perfection to start doing it. You have to "try"...there is no other way.
    Deep insights...and it resonates!!

    This was the key for me: People are drawn to aliveness, freshness, authenticity, and love. - That’s what draws people to you. The spark! We underestimate that. We try to copy the form and miss our own power. I always thought I was a great salesperson. What I realized is that I have a passion, a fire, and an aliveness in my heart when I am selling or doing something I love. That is why I am a good salesperson. It's not what I sold or did, it can be about anything that lights me up. THIS WAS HUGE! Thank you, Ajit and Michael!

    “The thing worth replicating is the aliveness in the moment” - wow, this is everything. I also loved reconsidering how powerful the simple act of pursuing what feels good can be. Abraham Hicks talks a lot about this: the idea of moving through life and pursuing our projects in a downstream direction, as opposed to trying to get somewhere by fighting the current and by paddling up stream. It’s so much easier and more enjoyable for all parties involved when we stay with the flow, when we follow what feels aligned with our hearts. Thank you so much for this wonderful interview!

    "You will know what you want to do more of once you get into it" - Blown blown blown by Michael Neill !
    This is the mindset shift I have experienced in myself which I am aware has been a very gradual transformation (out of multiple influences over the last couple of years) - staying alive to the moment and 'knowing' from within if I want to do more of what I am doing, or not, and just going about life like that.
    It hasn't necessarily been easy. There's the left brain and self doubt and responsibility and accountability. But I had to set all that aside and be 'irrational' if that's what it is because I simply can't bring myself to compromise on 'yeah, I am liking doing this and I am going to continue to explore' or 'No, I am not liking this and even if it means a hit on income, I can't do this'.
    Love the questions Ajit asks drawing out more and more clarity from Michael Neill.
    What is helping me feel not-so-irrational are the mindvalley quests like lifebook and Certified Life Coach and some other wonderful quests that have been helping me harness this current moment's aliveness and freshness that Michael Neill talks of, simply by taking me on a quest ! In order to know and do all that I like, I need to be exposed to all those possibilities and that is what is opening up for me gradually.
    Absolutely loving life!

    Michael this is one of the most powerful interviews I've ever listened to. The last thing you said is what became life-altering for me. The moment I stepped into doing what I loved without the overly tight focus of trying so damn hard, the lift off carried me to the most beautiful places.

    The key insight I got from this conversation is that I can slow down and see what exactly I want.
    I joined a coaching group called High Impact Coaching- they all had great sales techniques. But none of that got me clients. Now this video showed me what I need to really focus on/ understand to actually start my business and how can I have fun along the way rather than stress.
    It’s very inspiring for me to listen to Michael. It just feels like I want to keep listening to him. ❤

    you know how Michael looks, and sounds, so Clean? well that's the way I feel after watching, listening to him NOW THAT I have completed both an initial training and some coaching, as well... Clean, because what I hear from him has reminded me to let go of the worryworryWorry "advice" about coaching (or anything else, for that matter) that clutters up the game I simply enjoy and have chosen to play... the game that fulfills me in the playing of it. Takeaway: "there is a knowing in each of us"; trust my genuine interest and insights born out of interest in other people and in life itself... or, in short "do shit". It's how I have always photographed, since I first fell in love with making images. Of Course. Thank You, Ajit; Thank you, Michael.

    This interview has swept me off my feet. Michael is definitely inspirational. I've been working with transformational communications in consulting for the past 2 decades and there was so much in there that rang bells in that amazing speech. It is truly magic to work from the "spark" in my world, however a very difficult practice. Working in huge corporations is a daily challenge when you believe you should work in the moment....you're not usually fully understood by other members in the machine. People tend to get "swallowed" by the corporation's dictatorial practices and slowly lose the real sense of being in the moment when doing what they believe in. The metaphor of the golf move was strikingly true. I am seriously thinking on moving on in my career as a transformation coach and dropping the idea of working in global consulting. I can't read by the book and try to replicate successful moves of the past when the world revolves and companies, situations and cultures differ tremendously. It's certainly not my passion doing things because the methodology works. Methodologies are a valuable base.... but inclinations are invaluable and key to success! This is my personal view and experience. Thanks for this blissful podcast.

    I really loved the calmness and energy with which Michael presented everything. My favorite piece of advice was to trust your intuition and do what makes you feel alive, fresh, authentic and full of love. I also really liked the emphasis on trying something you feel drawn too, in whatever small or big way, and to not overthink and make everything seem heavy. Some people have a very clear idea of what they want to do from when they were small, but some people are still figuring out what is it that they feel so passionate about doing, that will make them feel alive and playful for their entire life! This conversation instils in them a confidence that its OK to take your time to figure it all out, it's ok to not follow the crowd, its OK to go with the flow and not force yourself into the rat race. It gives permission to people, and that in itself is a very powerful message and reminder. Thank you Coach Ajit for sharing this-I really loved listening to it:)

    wow, that was super interesting. I summarize my insights out of this amazing interview - coaching is as a business and we should trust our inner voice, our passion and just start and have courage to make mistakes. there is no royal road for everyone but for everyone individually his own way with courage to take risks in the current moment to follow his inner voice and we will reap the fruits - sooner or later. great.

    Thank you both very much for providing this beautifully, thought provoking video.
    As you asked me to share, kind Sir’s I will.
    As I sat here in Australia listening whilst taking a break from splitting wood for our fire, the thought that rose ever so gently from within me was;
    Be authentic to your life purpose and energy there will never be a significant energy or creativity issue for long.
    I am called and equipped to be effective, the confidence to do something comes and grows only when I’m in process or in practice. For the ultimate proof of my success is to leave a legacy that helps others get stated and go further than they initially thought possible. Hopefully crossing / support multiple generations.
    That, sounds like a fun way to spend the next 25 years of my life to me. LoL. 😂

    My biggest takeaways:
    1) Inclination VS Formulas That Leads to Goals
    2) Power of Authenticity and Aliveness:
    3) Action as the Path to Knowledge
    4) JUST DO, Trial and Error Lead To Clarity
    5) Personal transformations (inner) relate with Business, Relationship, Career transformation (outter)

      I think that's what we lack most as humans...we want to be what we admire in others which leads to a struggle and ultimately a miserable life.
      How I wish we'd learn to embrace what we are holistically.

      @@ruthie.kimani That is so true, Ruth! Unfortunately, we spend more time comparing ourselves to others when we each have a different journey. But that is also the beauty of discovering oneself and living in the present moment. Let's keep spreading that love and consciousness around :)

    So if he’s not worried about getting paid, why doesn’t he just quit his job and help people that really need it instead of people that don’t need it? I don’t respect that and I didn’t hear anything else he had to say after that.

    • @MelissaBrown-gu4hz
      @MelissaBrown-gu4hz 5 місяців тому

      He said to make himself look better. Because if you have that much impact and can help people who really need it- why not help them for free so they can make living wages? Why help people that are already rich and not mentally ill make more money.

    Michael is full of “I”. I wonder why some of these coaches are so attached to themselves. Coaching is about others, not about them. It’s about greater possibilities. “Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else’s opinions. Their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation” - Oscar Wilde

    • @mindvalleycoach
      @mindvalleycoach  4 роки тому

      Interesting perspective, Saurabh! As this episode is an interview with Michael, he's mostly sharing from his own experience and coaching journey, so that's very personal, thus the "I's." But we totally agree, when coaching, it is 100% about the person in front of you ;) ❤
