There is no doubt, you are a great teacher. I am leaning Catia via your UA-cam channel. Question: Why we can not do these drawing by " Part Design" (via Pad) instead of Surface design. Which is more easy, this way (Surface) or Part.
@@CADCAMTutorials but why/when would we use surface design vice part design? It seems that part design would be sufficient for all needed cases. Why even dabble with surface design? If you want to create a part that is not filled, you can just use the shell function no?
For regular engineering work part design is sufficient, but it has limitations too. If you have to design very efficient areo dynamic shape, or some product with complex shape, then for that only surface design is required.
Brother after completion of wireframe product it converts into solid object the part design is not opened and closed command also not showing. It was coming as new part sheet. What we have to do now?
These are simple exercises to understand basic surfacing concept, therefore you will not see any difference. But there are some components which cannot be modelled with solid modeling. In such cases surface modeling is very useful.
You explain every detail, keep make great video, God Bless You

Certainly these drawings are easy by parts. But to learn basic surfacing concept these drawings are good.

Thank you sir, exelent work, keep on make more videos sir.
You're welcome 😊
Nice!
Thank you 😊
Nice👍👍👍
Thank you :)

why we are not using trim ? instead ofsplit
Sir can you draw solid dumb body convert into surfacing..
Sir why we are changing surface into part
what is the purpose of surface design anyway? i dont see any different with part design.

sir, im still confuse what's the different trim and split
Trim is the tool used for joining two surface .
split is the tool used for splitting two surface.
what is connexity eror?
Can you explain some more examples
