Is there any kind of versioning? If you share early prototypes and get a bunch of feedback and then fix everything, do we have to create a new share link? Change the name of the shared do (v2, v3, v4), or is it automated? Basically, is it possible end users might see an older version of the doc by accident? Also, what if I want to limit revisions? For example if I give me client 3 rounds of revisions, I don't necessarily want them tossing in more comments all the time at random, but rather go through one session of comments and then lock it down until the next session. Can I do something like that?
is it possible to export my prototype as pdf/jpeg/png with it's clickable functions? if you have done it .. how did you do that .. when I save them in png/pdg.. its not clickable and have to go through each screen like a slideshow althugh I wireup the screens ..thanks
Hi Howard How can I share the design and have the padding and margins displayed? Let's say I have a pop-up that has some text and buttons within it. The text and button have a specific position within the pop-up. 1. I tried to mark for export this pop-up as a group and this resulted in only the position of the pop-up being highlighted in the presentation. 2. I also, marked all the assets like texts, buttons and other separately. This again resulted in only the position of the pop-up being highlighted in the presentation. How can I clearly show the exact position of each element like text or button on the screen when sharing with developers?
Can you mark different exports as different file types? I want my images as JGP and all the symbols/icons as SVG, and maybe a few special ones as PNG. But if you batch export, you only get one option for file type. SVGs don't need 1x/2x, etc. Is there a way to mark each individual one with specific export options and THEN batch export them all at the correct file types and retina sizes?
I think XD should introduce Batch Export for Selected Artboards only which will help us to extract the Assets of different types in a different formats.
After an hour and a half with Adobe useless Support, I figured this out myself. In case you still need this answer a year later...The actual Creative Cloud app has a bell icon in the upper right corner that should give you notifications of comments AS LONG AS you, the Owner, didn't leave them...then it gives you nothing and you have to be logged into the online prototype to see the comments you've left (if you're logged in).
I am trying to learn XD by importing my sketch file into XD however it turns all the pages of my sketch file into individual artboards in XD....How do i keep same organization of artboards in XD as I have them in sketch

Hey, Thanks for the info, however, is there any way to download the Developer file from the link that is shared and upload it in local repository?

Best explanation… thanks
Does anyone know how can we share only selected artboard? I don't want to share design all of them for review
Can anyone export selected artboard to developers? Why XD always export all artboards ?

Hey there! It only allows me to share 5 art-boards? Is there a way to get around this?
On published version where the client can add comments, there is no scroll bar. How do you add scroll bar on your pages?

Hello from Figma
how did he create drop-down menu there?
I had the same question. Noticed that when he clicked each click is switching artboards.
Crap... I guess I’m moving to XD..
You can't be a proper prototyping tool without any possibilty to prototype text input fields or create a database.
