A lot of these (mostly the law ones) are less "fact" and more "shit people made up that other gullible people believe". Examples: There's no law about elephant plowing in NC, no law about elevator talking in NY, no law about bouncing pickles in connecticut, the Georgia one about chicken was a publicity thing and they don't enforce it, the Iowa one about bricks is technically true, but only because it's just illegal to throw shit onto highways, which I think is true in most places, can't find any actual legal document about teacup wine in Topeka, Kansas, it's illegal to send goods or services to a person without asking them unless it's a gift so technically sending them a pizza they have to pay for counts but it's not like they made a law about pizza, in Rockville, Maryland (not the whole state) profanity is illegal in public with wording that technically applies to while you're driving (it says near a street, sidewalk or highway within the hearing of persons passing by...) but it's again not a law made about cursing during traffic jams and it only is in one city, there's no way Massachusetts has a lions in movie theaters law (apart from it's probably illegal to even own a lion in the first place, much less go roaming around in public with it), and I'm bored with this. Just know that every time someone is about to tell you about this crazy law they heard about, it's probably bullshit.
There's also no museum dedicated to pinball here in New Hampshire. The closest thing to that is Funspot's Classic Arcade Museum, which is a museum of old arcade games AND pinball machines in Weirs Beach.
what is that youtube thumbnail? lmao
Some of those laws have some real stories behind them
Most of the stories are "someone on the internet made this up or intentionally interpreted a perfectly reasonable law in the weirdest way possible."
This is interesting
