Thank you so much for your service. It was because of these brave men I am enjoying my freedom. Thank you Jake SHIMABUKURO!! Aloha, Aaron Aliiloa SILVA ( son of Alii'Noa)
Thank you, I've wanted a modern version for a long time.
Thank you go for broke
I really hope and pray that a real movie about the GREATEST SOLDERS IS MADE , my Uncles were in the 442nd.
Please contact me , my father Jack D Ishii for MIS and 25 years CIA operative and was awarded by the CIA for services in Vietnam. I will be more than happy to shed some light on the Ishii and Horiuchi family during the interment days of Idaho and the occupation of Japan.
Hello John, are you Lillian's son? I met her with Lucius Horiuchi a number of years ago. Long story of how we connected.
What happened to this film/ project? Was it completed?
I would like to know as well. My grandfather was in the 442nd as an Lieutenant and served with these men. I was working on something myself, nothing as spectacular as this but more of a tribute video. Some pictures my grandfather has, some in the public domain. I am planning on using any footage that is in the public domain as well. I would wholeheartedly support and want to watch this film. I hope it is coming around, people need to see how much these people overcame. Discrimination does NOT equal destination. All you have to do is "Go for Broke".
