His lyrics have a lot of depth and truth about them and I think that so many people relate to him because of the same issues he writes about. His talent is from God but the pain he has suffered that brings his words is from a different place.

I am 53, disabled now and on hospice. I tried my best to get tickets for Nashville show, they must have sold out quick. I live almost 4 hours away but i would have made the trip. Some of my days are good, some are the absolute worst, but on those days when i can't do anything, i browse Facebook and one day i discoved you. Oh it was great, i listened to your lyrics, loved them. I also watched your facial expressions when you were surprising friends and family with music. The look on their faces was priceless. Then the look on yours was the same, but there was also another look that some lose along the way, the ability to show compassion and the ability to stay humble. You weren't just showing out, people like your mom and music teacher was beautiful. Your mom was so proud that first concert, and your fans, young and old, were singing every word along with you. Your music isn't just about love songs and broken hearts, it was about anxiety, don't let world or people get you down. Some of your songs, you didn't say it bluntly but through the lyrics i could hear the words telling me it is all o.k. or will be, stand up, don't fall down. I hear about life in your lyrics
