- Wayne had the quickest of quick rides on the newest member of the Suzuki V-Strom family and gives us his quick thoughts. Smiles on dials. Bargain of the year? Probably. Free top box on orders in this year!
Someone obviously had so much fun and forgot to do a proper review. It only goes to show that this bike has a lot to offer for all the adventurers out there.
Really short ride experience on only one in the country, short and sharp. Full review will come when bikes get released and we can get some quality time on one. But with the time we had, this was all we could do.
"...we are going all the places we are not suppose to go!"
Yeah... right! haha ...but that's exactly what makes riding really fun. 😄👌
Great video quality! Those slow-motion shots look spectacular. Greetings from Mexico
It’s a fantastic bike if you can get one, many of the dealers have sold out or won’t sell it and want to sell you bigger bikes
It’s weird - I went to a dealer today, and he didn’t want to talk about the wee strom at all, much less allow a test ride.
$6500 is a bargain! I remember the CRF250L was around the same priced when it was released.
Before Inflation kicks in, everything was cheap at the same value
Proud v strom 250 sx owner here
It’s a little gem 💎 man ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm watching this video from Colombia because this bike isn't comming yet and I was thinking on buying a Bajaj Dominar 400 instead, but you have show me how fun and good looking is than machine that I have no doubt this is the bike for me, I'll wait for it.
@@Kalitan_Tokkekk82 Bro, I finally got it, I'm in love with it. Tell me when you get yours, cheers!
Love your review and sincere truth'
Appreciate your Love care and information 💕
I cant wait for triumph tiger 400, possibly looks somewhat like the vstrom
Looks like fun
Best motorcycle to get your saddle bags, go to remote areas of Africa and around the world. Forget heavy and complicated africa twin’s and bmw gs’s when planning to have fun globally.
Better than Indian Reviews
you deserve a double thumbs up, quite elaborating what the suzuki sx is capable of when doing some light offroad.. but still curious what about comparing it to KTM 250 adventure.. what'd you say? and which one will you pick? since in my country, suzuki motorcycle is kind of in the edge position, tbh i am really interested with this bike, but then doubting about the spare part and aftersales from suzuki. i can find more ktm's workshop rather than suzuki.. even though suzuki most probably the cheapest adventure bike here (versys 250x, ktm adventure 250, crf rally is really expensive way more than ktm). so i want to know what you think about those two.. all i can find the downside on suzuki is not the ability to turn off rear wheel abs i suppose?
KTM don't sell any 250's in Aus.
@@lachlancannard daaayymm, that's too bad.. Thank you for the information though, cheers!
Very nice review👌
I will buy the VStrom 250 SX if Suzuki increase the suspension travel, increase the tank capacity to 15 litres, taller handlebar with a revised peg position for ease of riding when standing up on the pegs, also give switchtable ABS, a bit more low end torque and a stronger light.
AND ALL THAT AT THE SAME PRICE ?!
@@brankog7Hahahaha 🤣
Good review on the bike mate, where are those roads? On the peninsula?
Those tracks are all on private property at a brewery
Hey Wayne, great review fella.... are you still riding the Triumph with a zillion KM's on it ??
Yep, did another couple of hundred on it today ;)
Hi,
What is the permited total weight load on this bike?
Thank you
Sasha
Nice quick review.. out of 10 how much point would you give this bike?
Good question! It’s gotta be up there. Obviously the design brief is being accessible and cheap. Hard to think of anything that comes close to it for the money. It’s be in the top few out of ten for sure.
Should I start giving bikes a rating pit of yen in my full reviews?
6500 is "cheap" but it's annoying that they're 3800 AUD in India. Surely they could sell them for 4500
Very good review, just add music
It’s the occasional exhaust notes
Small gear size 15T ?
It's only around $4000 here in indonesia
Here in Philippines around 4,200
Any phone connectivity and GPS navigation like the overseas models? I'm suspecting not, given the bargain basement $$$.
Anybody know???
I don't believe so Brian, no. Wouldn't expect it for that money!
Why would you need it? Just mount a phone
@chrispekel5709 apparently the phone and mapping takes up nearly half the screen (overseas), so I'm wondering if we just get a "50% screen" happening??? Or is the dash reprogrammed for a full display...for us???
@@bjo132658 if they can squeeze a few extra dollars out of us with extras they will
@@bjo132658 I'm still glad there's a bike like this being made. I'll bet the suspension is rubbish though
Will it be difficult to ride for 5.6 feet height man?
Should be perfect for you Charlie. Go grab a test ride!
front shock not yet USD?
Nope.
And it's still 125 mm travel
4.5k only in india
真的很可惜,臺灣沒有這樣的路可以騎,不然一定大賣。
bro that bike tire is for semi off road. i think it would still enjoyable on the road
Cheap as chips 😆
do your research, you drove the motorcycle, it's a twin cylinder
The old one was... this new one isn't. Here's some reading for you:

@@TrevorHedge SMH, cost cut, i hate monocylinder
@@allwheeldrivesn it's got more torque off the line so it's usually better off road. Cheaper to build and they're trying to keep this price really low - all the twins are more expensive with inflation
@@chrispekel5709 yeah but I guess the sound and vibrations are different!
@@allwheeldrivesn your parents never taught you to apologise when you are wrong? Smh..
